Guess the ************* refs SAW that offsides.

Par for the course ... they saw ALL of the penalties against the Steelers and missed ALL of the important penalties against the Chargers. I'm starting to lean towards the "NFL is rigged" side. At least as much as refs can influence the outcome of games.

The SD offsides was a horrible call no doubt. But the Steelers could have won this game if not for them missing wide open WRs and not being able to stop Rivers. No reason to lose this game at home. Then they get 3 offsides on a FG. The kicker was already rattled. Just let him miss it without you ******* it up.

Ya. They saw the STEELERS holding by God!

The Steelers had to know after the ignored false starts in the 1st half that the refs weren't going to give them ****.

It was the phantom hold on the long Conner run coming out of half. Swung the whole ****** game.

Up 16. Marching into fg range on a drive that would've taken half the third quarter putting us up 19 or more.

It hurt as much as the missed false start, and block in the back on punt return.

I never complain about the refs, but they had as much to do with this loss as our lousy mistakes.

That or the missed block in the back right at the catch on their return for a TD. Funny the flagged us on practically every return though. That whole officiating crew should be unemployed tomorrow.

The Steelers were driving down about to put the game out of reach but we can't have that, the whole west coast would've turned the game off and killed the ratings. So in pops a phantom holding call nowhere near the play. I've been seeing this type of garbage now for the last few seasons during pivotal points in games. Screw this fraudulent league.

Agreed whole heartedly. But winning tonight would have only masked a stench. This team was fools gold. Simple as that.

There is no excuse for us to lose the game last night. Oh, wait, there is and it is a HUGE excuse. We did win if you take the cheating refs 7 points off the board. The was a huge mistake by the refs and someone better be fired. That TD gave the Chargers hope and kept them in the game. 23-7 is a lot different than 23-0 at half time. Still, there's no excuse for us not scoring any points in the 2nd half until we were behind late in the 4th quarter. That is 100% on coaching and play calling. We should have come out no huddle to start the 2nd half and tried to immediately put points on the board. I felt we needed at least 10 points in the 2nd half to secure the win and that probably would have done it.

This could have been the worst officiating I’ve ever seen. It cost us a game.

I kept waiting for the "make up call". It never happened. Un

******* believable.

That hold call was called on Ramon Foster. Reading his lips looked like he was trying to tell the ref the defender was grabbing his arm. Foster was nowhere near the play and even if he did hold, it wouldn't have affected the outcome.

I know every flag can't be challenged, but why can't a coach use his challenge for a blatant missed penalty? I don't like the "ineligible" for review rule. Hockey coaches can challenge an off-sides play after a goal, so why can't a HC use a challenge flag? Stupid rule.

On the phantom holding call tat really destroyed our momentum; why is it if a ball is "uncatchable" there is no flag on an PI or holding or ANYTHING, but there can be holding called on a guy that isn't even in the same ******* area code as the guy running with the ball? Why?

Refs need to use their judgment before making a game changing call when the perceived infraction both didnt impact the play, and would substantially change the outcome of the play. That was what, a 40 yard penalty?

They probably have that standard clearly defined for a PI because those are generally the focus of a play. Everyone sees it while a "hold" away from the play is often not caught on camera or focused on by viewers.

They used judgment all the time, that's how they swing the tide and outcomes of games.

The refs handed LA two touchdowns with non calls and possibly took away a TD drive for us on Foster's holding penalty. I'm a fan and I'm not above blaming officiating for a loss.
