Great Read on AB

I clicked on the link to read it and then realized I really could care less about the jack ***.
 
It's a long read but a good one as it is in time-line form. Doesn't tell us much of what we don't know.


"Tony" needs help and until he gets it, he will never play in the nNFL.

He’s been an ******* for a long time.

He will probably never play in the NFL again and he only has himself to blame.

I believe Rosenhaus just dropped his *** too
 
I love that Ben told him to shut off his music pre game so he could concentrate and Brown's response was, "**** you cracker." A real class guy. Good ******* riddance.

I have no doubt in this being true. The Police gave him back his contribution and have cut ties with him. The police department that he was using their outdoor facility to work out, citing as he isn't someone they want their kids to look up to. (Paraphrasing)

From the looks of the article, hebwas falling for a long time, but was hidden by the mives of Tomlin and the team

Well calling the cops trying to help you out crackers, and verbally assaulting them isn’t gonna go over well back at the precinct.

The police reasoning for giving back the contribution is a VERY legitamit one. One a side note, it also puts the officers and "Tony" on the same level so as next time he proceeds to lambast the officers, they will (beat the **** out of him and) arrest him as they should. He is living on borrowed time and as a human being, I hope for his "LIGHT" to turn on as to how to be a decent HUMAN.

dude is well on the path to the being the one thing he fears: alone. Whatever future tragedy awaits him, nobody is going to care.

Yea, almost everyone on here and in the media were praising Tomlin for covering this up so long. When I pointed out that covering it up was probably hurting the team people went nuts and blasted me for it. Then I got the "AB has to be responsible for himself, it's not Tomlin's fault". Now I guess word is out that AB was a moron for years and others have now confirmed it. Tomlin allowed this train wreck into infect the locker room but I give him credit for being able to cover it all up.... excellent coaching work there.

Yep. One can only imagine what Tomlin and the organization let him get away with. Does anyone actually wonderer why we didn't win anything with AB and Bell now? A new culture was aloud to creep in and change the way the Steelers did things. World of talent but at what cost?

Same here. I think in the span of 3 weeks he went from video taping himself rejoicing that the raiders released him, to sexual assault lawsuits filed and the Cheats getting rid of his *** over it (with him taking a shot at the owner of the team & one of the most powerful men in the NFL).

Not much rejoicing going on right now.

A good read. It paints the picture of someone who has been struggling with demons since his teenage years. Tomlin followed same same script as his college coach to get production out of him. He’s basically been a ticking time bomb, who has bucked against authority and discipline his entire life. Sounds very much like he could be bi-polar.

For an interesting parallel case study look at the Ron Artest (aka Meta World Peace). Terrell Owens has a similar back story too. From a human behavior perspective, it the situation isn’t as simple as many fans want to make it.

Unless he gets help, he’s probably played his last down in the NFL. At his age, there probably isn’t enough time for him to turn it around. It’s a sad tale.

The only good read on this clown is an obit and it wouldn’t surprise me to see it any day.
