Great to see the Steelers back in action tonight! the D shut the Giants run game down! Didn't like their 19 play drive before the end of the half, got to work on getting them off the field sooner. Edmunds, OK, first game but he needs to play much better. He seemed out of position once again and gave up yardage on those third downs. Snell went over 100 yards rushing....he should be our starter as Conner once again, struggled. Good to see Ben back in there slinging the ball around...3 TD passes! We won by 10, covered the spread easily...very good for me! I'm good with their performance tonight...HERE WE GO!!!
 
the muff.. the clank. the ben being off early. the injuries to conner and banner. bad although didnt seem to affect how we played..
All the rest fine for a 1st game. We got her done.

Great to see them win. I would say they didn't play great. They played good and did what they had too. Run D was great. Pass rush was very good. Coverage was not great. Lots to improve there.
 
I was a little bit impressed with this Jones fellow. Starting thinking early Ben. But I ain't a great football analyst, just a homer.
 
I don't care if they give up 25 play drives if they end up as ints for the defense


yeah, yeah, I would have preferred that they got off the field on one of the many 3rd down plays or the 4th and 1....but the ending of the drive was pretty damn good

Good points Doc. I'm the other way with Edmunds this year. I was very hard on him last year, but he led the team in tackles with 9 (7 solo), and looked better in coverage, nearly killing Slayton on his hook route. I'm at least interested to see Edmunds improve. Without having a preseason, he had to work on his timing, and compared to last year, it's already better. Slayton is a young WR, but he is talented as hell!
 
Good Game but had a price...torn pectoral they are saying for Wisnewski, and Banner looked done, too. If so, what’s the line look like now?
