Governor Pritzker and Mayor Johnson lose the Bears to Indiana

The Steelers aren’t saying anything at the moment but trust me, with the current stadium getting closer to 30 years old, it’s coming.
I don’t know where the hell they would build it but the North shore is pretty much centered around those two stadiums.
I don’t like the airport location at all. Too far from the city.

Would be a traffic nightmare. Last place that should be considered..

I think they’re going the Baltimore, Cincinnati, Jacksonville, etc. route of a renovation.

Maybe West Virginia! Why not? Bears thirty miles from Chicago in Hammond Indians so Steelers in Morgantown WV. Never know! Its always about money!

30 miles? Hammond literally borders Chicago's south side.

Probably the best solution.
Bryant-Denny in Tuscaloosa opened in 1929 and has been renovated\added on top of the original multiple times without disrupting the football season.
Plus, seeing the Golden Triangle\skyline lit up during night games is an awesome visual. Putting the stadium out by the airport would suck in many ways.

Pritzker btw never met a buffet line or a donut he didn’t like. How in the **** do these people get elected.

I keep debating this in my mind in the end I think I would be pissed if the stadium wasn’t in Pittsburgh.
It absolutely shouldnt be in Pittsburgh... unless they followed through on the 1960 plan to build one over the river.

The actual city limits are very small for a big city, and much is rivers or hillsides that are undevelopable.

They always end up eminent domain-ing businesses and homes and ejecting tax income from the city that isnt made up by the sports team.

Putting one just outside the city would still utilize all the hotels and bars downtown...

Also not building one at all also still is the right move...

They could always transform Schenley Park golf course land and build there?
It’s about 65 acres… if they need more land, it’s there in the Park..
But 65 acres oughta be more enough for the stadium, parking lot, practice facility, Steeler offices, and development of restaurants and bars..
The only downfall would be the traffic in and out.. similar to Way Forbes Field was which was almost near the golf course

Possibly
Zero percent chance across the board, CMU would **** a brick. The city and residents would also be up in arms.
Burgundy would **** a brick too. That's where they hold the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix.
They already closed the race track out near me, it got sold to become a data center. The weekend before the PVGP they would race the cars there that were too fast for Schenley Park.
It's not like we don't have a bunch of closed steel mills near rivers where you could build a data center.
