Good Zinger on how Steelers currently doin business

Like I said I am sure Tomlin has input, but the Khan man seems to run the ship IMHO, he certainly takes input, but I feel that Weidel may have more influence in the decisions than even Tomlin.
Well me and Ben Roethlisberger strongly disagree:
While Omar Khan is the general manager, Roethlisberger believes Tomlin ultimately makes most of the key decisions, with Mr. Rooney potentially vetoing them if necessary. Roethlisberger has also criticized Tomlin's perceived inability to adapt and develop young quarterbacks, while also acknowledging Tomlin's long tenure and the power that comes with it.

I had zero problem with the pick. And for me to **** on it is simply revisionist history. Very few people thought he would be there when the Steelers picked. They had the Steelers taking Malik Willis who went in the third. But there is no pick, FA or trade happening on this team without Mike Tomlins approval. None. He is the 18 year HC of the team. I'd say he can be talked into things. And Kevin Colbert probably had a lot more to do with that the Omar Kahn.
I'm on record here wanting McDuffie at the time of the pick and I wasn't the only one. **** the reaching for need, get the best value and aim for a QB when value matches draft position or wait it out for the following season or get a darn free agent.

Ben had a lot to do with the not drafting and developing young QB's. As I have said repeatedly most teams can't draft and develop QB's effectively.

I'll say this about this team is going to be a tough out... this is a team hard too predict exactly what its going to do but it is full of guys that know how to win... won't be surprised if it hits a hot streak and goes all the way... why not? the key is the offensive line if we had munch coaching those young guys id be at the betters window right now the talent is there... I'm thinking between Frazier and the qb they will get enough from this line to cause all sorts of trouble!!! same with the defense I think, with this pass rush, Ramsey goes to the probowl! these guys know how to win.... loading up on the Geritol for one more roll in the hay... why not better than fukn tanking!!!! GoSteelers!!!!

Go all the way. To what. C'mon. To out of the Wild Card Round. They can't even win the division.

If you are saying those guys were foisted upon Tomlin I strongly disagree. All were insurance policies but he never had to make a claim because players in front of them were wokhorses.
Van Jefferson last season was a workhorse?

Ever coach football? You have starters and backups and last players on the roster. Just because guys don't play doesnt mean the HC didnt choose him on the roster. Now other coaches and certainly the gm have sway. Im not saying that. But HC Mike Tomlin is the bottom line on all decisions unless ownership overides. Not Kahn, not Weidl, Not Smith. So if anyone thinks that they announced oh Mike we are trading a multiple pro bowl safety Fitzpatrick for Ramsey and Smith and a flip of picks........tone down on the weed bro.

Guess it wasn't obvious enough: the team acquired Williams last season for a pick; first game one target: nice long TD. Exactly the production needed from WR2.
Then he ride pine while Jefferson did not much; Similar to Preston Smith on the other side of the ball; good start then somehow couldn't get on the field.
Both were assets acquired by using draft capital, and both seemed underutilized; like the HC wasnt on the same page as the GM.

Maybe you take a couple puffs, chill a bit. Or grab a gummy.

So the two year GM who was probably chosen by the owner cause he could work with Tomlin is foisting players on the 17 year head coach. It's a theory we could debate but seems pointless. Im typically a rye and beer guy. New weed is too ******.
