No sling in the post game presser and that last pass to Brown had some decent zip on it and went around 25-30 yards. Maybe I'm reaching here?

They probably shot him up with Toradol and he couldn't feel anything.

This. He's loaded and you can tell. That cheesy grin every time they asked about the shoulder "Well, we won the game". He's high as a kite man.

We'll know by his practice participation this week. I hope this gets Haley to shorten his drops. He's back to his old ball holding self and that's got to change against Denver's pass rush.

He could be happy they won the game too. I think he'll be fine.

Can't he be both?

The way he answered the post game questions pertaining to the shoulder worries me a bit.

On one hand, I do not think they would have put him on the field if there was significant structural damage to his throwing shoulder, but he sure looked noodle-armed on that winning drive, albeit effective.

the fact he went back in means nothing is broken. I'm guessing it was either a dislocated shoulder or a joint sprain. It will probably be a pain issue. It's good that they will play the last game next week on Sun at 4:40 so there is an extra day off.

I'm wondering if the game in Denver might work against Antonio playing. Does high altitude have an effect on concussion symptoms?

Perhaps a somewhat cheesy tactic to get Denver thinking about which quarterback their going to face? Now, I understand that mr Rogers(Landry jones) probably won't strike fear into the hearts of the Denver defense, but you never know. I don't care how dire the straits may have been, if there was a serious issue, Ben wouldn't have come back into the game. No way the steelers jeopardize what we have left of his career for this game. Especially when you consider that the ******* bungholes could have pinned their ears back and went after him.

I am guessing that he has an AC sprain. Hopefully, he heals fast!

.

The injury looked like a classic broken collarbone (exactly what's happened to Romo 3 times now and Rodgers a couple years ago). Obviously it's not broken because they x-rayed for it so maybe it is an AC sprain...the key is just how bad it is, I'm sure he will try to tough it out.

If it ain't broke he'll play. Everybody especially Ben knows Landry Jones is not the option as the best choice to beat Denver.
I would be more concerned about about AB.

He said he was in a lot of pain at his presser. However, no sling and no ice on the shoulder gives us some hope he is OK and will be fine for next week. But, we shall see. I am sure an MRI is coming.

I'm not sure if he'll be able to complete his full range of throwing motion with the injury/pain that he is experiencing. No way can he play if he can only throw the ball 10-15 yards like last night.

They just reported Ben was in a **** ton of pain and asked Haley not to call anything that would have him throwing very far downfield.

AB was telling people he was fine but he has to pass concussion protocol.

Oh you bet he was. He was "feeling very happy" more than about the win, that just added to it!
