No one here is saying he's not worth getting paid. We are all aware of his talent and yes some of the things mentioned in those articles (like ypc) are an overreaction by some. But like Slash said, it's the fact he turned down a very generous deal to make him far and above the highest paid RB in the league. Going much higher than that will handcuff the team salary cap wise (we're already up against the cap as it is) and do more harm than good.
Also, those articles conveniently fail to mention Adrian Peterson who, like Bell, demanded to be paid way higher than the next highest RB...but in his case, the Vikings gave in. They didn't win the division again until after Peterson left and now they're back to being a top contender in the NFC again. I just don't want to see the same thing happen to the Steelers.
