I was wondering the same thing Coryea, other teams broken players. James is just average and Green showed us a taste of what we would have if above average speed. Unfortunately Green was broken and now Vance who is just a little bit slower seems near broken also. James has all the fundamentals but JUST doesn't have the speed. Probably need a draft pick on a TE.

There was no report on him. So no idea if he practiced

Vance was initially listed with a knee contusion, which means a bone bruise or a bruise in general. It wasn't supposed to be an issue at all, but he's missed only the Detroit game so far with it. Bone bruises are very painful, but you can usually play with them. Depending on where on the knee it is, it can be excruciating to walk on. If it's severe, I wouldn't expect him to miss more than a month total. But with the way the schedule is set, there is no need to rush anyone back with 2 games to play in 5 days. Get past the Thu game and start loading up for the December run!

I read Vance did not practice. I also read in the local paper that one of the guys thinks the Steelers 1st pick next year could be Gisecki, the TE from Penn State. I believe he is considered the No. 1 TE in this class so I don't know if he will be there when we pick. He would be a great addition. Tall, major athlete with decent speed and good hands.

If a first their QB is there at 32, you take him provided he is hands down a hell of a lot better than what we currently have. Cousins may be an option short term but then we are loaded for the "WIN" now. Any event the Front Office knows a hell of a lot more than I do, unless you're talking KAYAKING / Rocket Science / or just general knowledge in day to day life................
