Browns will released Barnidge today. Could be on the Steelers radar?

I didn't realize he's 32. Thought he was younger. Could hbe an insurance option if you think Green isn't going to be available.

He could be but someone else will offer him more

Honestly, this is one of those rare castoffs that I'd love to go after. Make it happen!

I agree, he had sports hernia surgery last off-season, but that's healed

I'd say the lack of a QB on a 1-15 team had more to do with his stats falling last year after a 1000 yd year before that - grab him

We should offer him a vet min deal and announce the signing right before the Stains next pick

He's best buds with D'Angelo Williams, sign em both

He's a pretty good player. I would do it if the opportunity was there.

I was worried that Barnidge and Njoku would be tough to cover but apparently the Browns are still tanking to get picks because they are going with all youth. That would make sense if they had a QB but they don't.

By the time the Browns get a QB and he's ready to win, all these young players will be free agents and the team will break up

If healthy a better option than James if Green can't go.

I'd take a shot. Barnidge and Jesse works for me

Green isn't going to be here, health wise. If he is it won't be for long. Bring him in and take a LOOKsie,.......can't hurt

Salute the nation

I understand the wind blew a bit the other day and Green is suffering something of a relapse. Say's he'll be "Good come game-day though!"

they got Deshone Kizer

**try typing that without smiling or laughing**

There's another FA option available for the taking

Jamaal Charles - RB - Free Agent

Charles' "market" has been completely nonexistent, which is surprising to a degree. Though he is coming off a significant knee injury and is 30 years old, he should be able to get another shot. Before the injury, Charles was one of the best backs in the league and has never averaged fewer than 5.0 YPC in a season

If Charles was accepting of his role, he could be a DeAngelo Williams type signing. Of course his pay would have to reflect that also......

Charles will go to Philly, GB, or the Giants. He wants to play. Barnidge could be a nice option...cut Grimble

I wouldn't cut Grimble..

I believe he is going to push Jesse James for snaps this season..
