Seriously? Having captain ***** of the "ALL-PRO" Oline out for three weeks will be a good thing...Oline is playing the worst it has in years, but their "ALL-PRO's"?? My god, before Garrett went after Mason, they had sacked him twice on that drive! Psst...hey ***** pouncey, maybe get mad at how you played all night and block someone! oh and BTW, stop just snapping the ball all over the place, give your QB a fighting chance

Pouncey didn't play all night, then started to kick the guy on the ground! I would have given him credit if you stood there and decked him

I agree, one maybe two games tops, but does it really matter, this team is going nowhere, and we might as well enjoy the remaining games of the season for the few splash plays that may occur.

The O-line is getting Tomlin'd. If there isn't an exceptional coach insulating the players from Tomlin, they start sucking.
 
3 games is nuts. I'd go with one at most. The kicking motion is what made it look bad. Pretty ****** kick. Didn't even move that cowards head.

******* browns manage to win one after handing out concussions to 2 wide receivers... They hit Mason in the jaw with a helmet on the same play they knocked out JuJu.

The clowns are still pathetic. They've just reached bungle level.

Pouncey just got 3 games for fighting Garret also fought... lets say this gets reduced to 2
Garrett swung a helmet at another player... in the past that got three games if you don’t connect... so 3 games for swinging the helmet
Garrett did make contact with a defenseless and helmetless players head... one a few weeks away from returning from a concussion...
so add 3 more games to that and he is up to 8 games of absolute suspension with logical reasons for it
and here is the kicker... this wasn’t in the continuation of the play... it was targeting the head outside of play altogether... it was assault... it textbook violated a ton of the conduct policy... there is absolutely nothing that says the conduct policy is off field only... under the conduct policy he absolutely can be suspended indefinitely... so serve 8 games then apply for reinstatement, and the nfl has the right to wipe out his season this year
 
If Garrett wants to argue the "indefinite" nature of the suspension, the league should (but I know they don't have the balls) say, OK, you are suspended for the remainder of this year (6 games) and 10 games to start next season. That would be a full year and is well in line with what most people, former players included, think he should get. This is Garrett's 3rd offence this year. He is turning into the next Suh.

This is probably more logic than we'll see from the NFL and its arbitrary penalties. Anything fewer than 8 games is a joke for this particular infraction.

Shouldn't the rest of the "fines / suspensions" be out today? I mean the two headshot penalties, player ejected and the rest of the league fines etc.........

Yes.. the Steelers front office backed him up too. The argument was that no player has ever been suspended for a simple fight for more than one game, even with kicks... and that the league was trying to keep him out of the second browns game, thats why three games were given... so a one game reduction would still keep him out... based on precedent it should be reduced to one game...

He still probably gets two though
