My brother gave me one, out of the blue. He had it framed at one point, but in a drunken decision broke it out of the glass and wore it.

So any how, what would you do with it?

1. Have it re-framed and hang it.

2. Wear it occasionally?

3. Hang in closet but not wear it.

the real game jerseys are quite a bit heavier, thicker and higher quality than the replica jerseys. You definitely can tell a major difference.

probably just keep it in my closet as a keep-sake/conversation piece.

If you play your cards right you might be able to turn this gift into 5 or 6 different thread topics/polls before the start of the new season. I for one will be eagerly waiting for each and everyone. Good luck.

Put it in a shadow box. Try to reach out to him and see if he's willing to sign it for you.

I've tried to contact a few Steelers players, and 3 have actually responded with a letter and 1 with an autographed jersey.

You never know...Kirkland was a Clemson boy. He's a good dude.

Which players were those Skott?

I'd have him sign it before you reframe it. Its worth about $1000.

$1000? Wow. Is that with the auto or without?

My cousin has a game football of the SB Bettis played in. Then he got Bettis to sign it. How much would that go for do you think? He has paper work for both.

That's not worth more than $5, but since I'm a hell of a nice guy, I will give you $10.

A game used jersey is worth about $1000.

So you cousin has a game used football from SB 40 signed by Bettis? Prob around $500

Give it to a Steeler fan.

The actual game jerseys are a tighter fit as well. I would re-frame it. Anyone who has bought a retail authentic knows just how tight fitting a game authentic is. Same material just a bit more stretchy in the shoulder areas

I still wear all of my signed authentic jerseys. Though they are obviously on special occasions, and I don't eat when I wear them. If I had more wall space, I'd hang them, but instead, they sit in the closet with the rest of my clothes.

Ebay. Then spend the money on coke and ******.

hes from Lamar South Carolina. Im sure it's another ****** place that isn't good enough for you. You should wipe your *** with it. Better yet , shove it.

You seem to have some issues, bro. Pretty weird to go to "wipe ur *** with it" card. I am pretty sure I won't "shove it."

You nailed it. Jersey is surprisingly small - for a 270 lb or so dude. I could actually wear it and not swim in it. But I won't.

Just 5 or 6? If I don't get 10, I will be disappointed. This aint the real deal. Nothing like real game jersey.

It's priceless. Enjoy it for what it is. Steeler's history!

Have it shadow boxed and hang it next to your Marsha jersey and watch that Cheaters #12 jersey sweat bullets until it begs you to throw it (#12) into the trash. Then you'll have a sweet *** 99 on the wall and you'll be on track to becoming a REAL Steelers fan. You can do it buddy.

Are you sure its game used? Is it a game issued jersey instead? And what do the sleeves look like? Cause they're different then the authentic $300 jerseys you buy from NFL shop.

Unless Kirkland does something of great notoriety, it will never be worth much. I'd wear it.

He has already signed it.
