Game Day Thread: Steelers vs. Ravens Part One

We now know Madden's topics for the week. How great the Pens are and JuJu's fumble.

The Pens did kick *** though. I’ll leave that discussion for the hockey board.

Juju will learn, but he does take stuff to heart. Which is good, means he cares about the team. But I hope it doesn’t mingle into his confidence like Limas Sweed

Even if we had clawed out a win today, even if we eventually managed to scratch our way to the top of this ****** division, would it matter? We’re not beating any really good teams.

I do not have a problem with the OT call. The defense had tightened up and we were down to our 3rd QB. We ended up with a legit shot at winning, but fumbled it away

I can't disagree with this more, that was a routine catch and run made every week. Receivers would be fumbling 5 times a game if what you said was true, you have got to secure that ball.

Sometimes players just make great plays. The guy punched it out on a hard perfect punch. He tried earlier in the game on JuJu and missed and JuJu ran his *** over. It was just a great football play. By the way you are lucky to see that perfect of a punch out once every couple of games let alone 5 times a game.

Tomlin blamed the KO returners for his decision to kick off in overtime. Who is the ******* moron that kept Switzer and Holton instead of cutting the dangerous and effective Spencer ? Tomlins bad decisions snowball and build on each other and then force him to make n=more bad decisions. This **** will not stop as long as he is the head coach.

I agree. I do not blame Ju Ju. Regrettably, a good defensive play.

What is the rationale for not taking the opportunity to win when it is awarded to you? Why do you say “**** it” and give it to the other team? Use footnotes if needed.

I already explained the pluses and minuses to both decisions. And I will add this. Take the ball and not get a first down something this team has not done consistently all year..you hand the ball over to the ravens with good field position and the best Kicker in the game only needing a FG to win. No TD just a FG. Tucker can make them from 60+

So what? He didn’t want to play here. It’s not like we didn’t bend over backward to accommodate him. If you’re so in love with him go be a fan of his team. Oh wait..,

Once again, **** AB!

Instead of going home and playing Fortnite, JuJu needs to take his as back to the lab and learn how not to fumble.

this is true. this team is destined for 5-11/6-10 realm of final record, so in the grand scheme of things, it wouldn't matter all that much.

That’s a weak mindset, one destined for failure. It’s the ipitome of the aggressive Cowher philosophy versus the scared timid Tomlin gameplan.

I really dont see the anger about deferring. Pluses and minuses either way..Get the ball and score a TD game over of course. Kick a FG they still get the ball to tie the game on a FG or win on a TD...but if you stop them you can win on a FG no TD needed. This isnt the old rules
************* are gonna ***** and moan regardless.

The decision was bold. The defense did their job and got the ball back. Period the end.

Juju fumbled. Game set. Match.

My son has a great job at Epic Games so easy on the Fortnite

Well good for him. I'm sure it's a great gig. But some people are on that crap playing 24/7. JuJu is a grown man. Time to do grown man things.

Looking at the schedule right now we get a win against the Dolphins, the Jets and a maybe against the Bungals.

:nono:Beyond that it doesn't look too promising.

My son and i warched on replay. Did the ref really say it isn't defensive holding because it was fake to the rb?
Does that mean you can grab a receiver on play action now. Wtf?
