Game Balls, Game Goats & FU's........vs Packers

This one wasn't pretty.....there were times in this game that our Defensive front 7 was getting blown off the line of scrimmage and it didn't look good....I guess the Packers do have some road graters on that O-line. It's games like this one that show the type of fight in this Steelers team. I really think we took the best the Packers could throw at us as this was a pivotal game for them also. This along with the Colts game were both the type of game where things didn't go right but the team persevered overcame adversity and continued to make plays to lead the team to victory. I hope James Harrison is being deactivated with good reason because I worry the Steelers are quietly killing Deebo's final year as a Steeler unless they are saving him for the stretch run. Bring on the ******* BUNGLES!!!

Game Balls:
Ben Roethlisberger - 351 yds 4TD's yeah he had 2 INT's one was a batted ball and the other the DB just made a great play on it.
Antonio Brown - 10 rec 169yds 2 TD's
LeVeon Bell - 95 yds rushing 88 yds receiving...183 yds from scrimmage
Chris Boswell - Great clutch kick of 53 yds on the final play to win the game! Great work BOZ!
Cameron Heyward - He played his *** off on that Defense tonight 3 tackles, 2 sacks

Game Goats:
Eli Rogers - stepping in for Juju tonight.....two dropped passes both which were easy catches....gotta catch the easy ones
Cody Sensabaugh - Dude got absolutely toased tonight on a go route tonight vs Adams for a TD. NY Giant fans called him Toast Senabaugh.....we saw him get tosted tonigt! We need Haden back!
Artie Burns - This guy has had a few bad games recently.....and I don't see any improvement so I'm tossing him in here
Bud Dupree - This guy needs to improve his pass rushing skills. He's looking more and more like Jarvis Jones

FU's:
To the quitters! Steeler Football is 60 minutes! It's never going to be pretty! THROW STYLE POINTS OUT THE WINDOW! BUT THESE GUYS WILL FIGHT TO THE END!
 
yeah Bud Dupree needs some coaching up or something, he's starting to become very irrelevant out there.
 
Honestly Todd and Ben have to come to some kind of agreement. I don't know enough about what's going on but the offense just seems so much smoother and more vibrant in the no-huddle or muddle-huddle. They've GOT to figure out how to incorporate more of this. It seems the huddled plays are really crapping the bed.

Literally Run - Run - Pass and it's not even creative runs. More like, 'run the **** right into the middle, son." 1 yard? Ok, do it again. Alright. 3rd and 9. Ben, make something AWESOME happen while I dial up another up the gut run for the 1st down assuming you get it."
 
Chico - good overview. I give a game ball to TJ Watt. Dude spent the entire night in coverage, and was freaking excellent. Defended JORDY ******* NELSON, and on another play, saw no receiver in his area, rushed and sacked Huntley at a crucial moment.*

Also, a goat to the safeties ... Jesus, when the QB dumps off a ****** little pass, how about making a tackle and not letting the guy go 50 yards untouched for a TD (twice)???

* P.S. Hey, announcers, when the QB brings the ball down and is holding it with two hands and looking to run, HE IS A ******* RB AND CAN BE HIT HELMET-TO-HELMET.

Game Balls: The offense. 31 points earned, no gifts short fields.

Goats: Missed extra point. Bos. Yeah I know the game winner....but still, gotta hit those.

FU's: Secondary giving up 3 huge tds- and they wouldve been td if they were playing one hand touch.

Agree about the offense. They actually picked up where they left off last week. The only reason Gb was in the game was because if the secondary giving up those TD's

I give Boz a pass. Those things happen to the best kickers. He has. Been money all year, and he more than made up for it.

The Boz miss was moot when AB caught the 2pt conversion.


You guys have to understand, in cold weather, XPs are not gimmies. It's a good strategy to always go for 2 this time of year.
