All but Sanders and Woodson did squat. Woodson left because he was stubborn Sanders because we had Brown. I think you like to use talking points that have no real substance.
 
Steelers spend to the cap every year... anyone bitching about letting players go is clueless to the cap....


Tomlin is a problem because the game shifted enough that his old school tampa two defensive strategies aren’t useful and he still wants to run them... look up the weakness of the Tampa two, cross reference it with the plays we routinely give up then look at what most teams are trying to do in the passing game these days and you see why it’s ridiculous... basically you just have to get that lb covering the middle strip up the center matched up on a wr or fast te and you can eat it alive...

So your point is that if we had paid those guys the team would be better and people would not ***** about Tomlin. Got it.

Harrison left because he was benched.

They didn't need to pay Sanders big money. A guy by the name of AB was a rising star. They just drafted Alien if I recall correctly. Wheaton was starting ahead of Sanders.

Not finding a way ot keep Woodson was a mistake for sure, but they wanted him to change positions. Woodson didn't want to.

I will give you Greene since I can't remember the details of his departure. One guy does not equate to your contention of years of not paying players.

At least you didn't claim Bell or K. Lewis.
 
I thought right tackle feiler who blocked bosa all game long had a pretty good game I think he actually has been having a pretty season

You're right, I forgot those two - Kendrell Bell, who dominated after leaving the Steelers for financial reasons, and Kray Lewis, Ray's illegitimate half-brother, who was credited with 138 tackles and 3 interceptions two years after leaving the NFL and who the Steelers inexplicably refused to pay.

Jeez, Hoot, every year the Steelers have up to $3,000 left on the salary cap. That 3 grand could buy a very nice exercise bicycle that Kendrell Bell would have used to avoid all those injuries.

Cheap *** Steelers.
