Well first and foremost this was a game where our Steelers came back from the dead to get the win in a crazy game on the final play of the game for the 3rd time in 4 weeks. I was sick to my stomach watching them take him off the field on a stretcher and hope and pray that Ryan Shazier didn't suffer any serious injury or paralysis. It certainly didn't look good when he rolled over I hope it's only a spinal concussion and something he can fully recover from and continue his NFL career. Honestly I don't know how Tomlin kept his focus and the team focused throughout the game....he deserves alot of credit. Bring on the Ratbirds!


Game Balls:
Mike Tomlin - I don't know how he kept his focus and the team focused but he deserves a game ball tonight!
Ben Roethlisberger - Say what you will about Ben but he's playing darn good football right now. And congratulations on becoming only the 8th QB to pass for 50,000+ yards for his career
Antonio Brown - I don't know he didn't drop that TD pass after he got hit helmet to helmet by Iloka. Makes up for the few drops he had tonight
LeVeon Bell - 182 all purpose yards 106 rushing to put him over 1,000 yds this season
Chris Boswell - You are a big reason the Steelers are 10-2 this season young man. Keep it up!
Juju Smith Schuster - I don't care what his stats were.....putting a lickin on that THUG Burf-Defect makes me wanna shake your hand! Great ******* Hit! LOVED THE TAUNT TOO!

Game Goats:
Cody "Toast" Sensabaugh - Blew his assignment on one TD and fell down on the other. We need Haden back. Maybe Cam Sutton can fill in here
JJ Wilcox - You won't see anything on the stat sheet for him but two penalties one on the Kickoff return for a TD by Bryant and another on a nice punt return by Eli Rogers. Someone in the game thread said where's JJ Wilcox....well that's probably why he doesn't see the field often
Bud Dupree - I'm calling this bum out again.....he really isn't that good of a football player.

FU's:
Dre Kirkpatrick - You are officially LeVeon Bell's *****!
Vontaze BurfDefect - **** YOU! I loved seeing Juju lay this punk out and then Taunt the SOB. Burfict actually tried to grab his ankle and roll him over until the training staff came out and made him lay down. Burfict is a true THUG!


As I'm writing this....DVE just reported a source close to the Shazier situation said the injury doesn't look to be as serious as it looked on the field.....they didn't give a source but just said someone close to the situation....LET'S HOPE THIS IS TRUE!

It is now being reported that Ryan Shazier suffered a Spinal Cord Concussion....same injury as Tommy Maddox in 2002. Maddox missed one game! Let's hope...we need Shazier for our run!

Game balls: Everyone on the roster, coaching, and training staff.

When even fans had a hard time caring about the game, and they were down 17-0 on their last LB they showed the heart and grit to grind this thing out.

There were mistakes, fouls, missed tackles, and bad challenges and play calls, but this one was not about style points.

This was about not quitting when no one would blame them. This was about character, and I am damn proud of their work tonight.

Goats: Not today.

I gotta tip my hat to number 10. The kid has really shown up the past couple of games. Yeah, a few dropped passes, but he made ones that kept drives alive. 27 needs to come off of special teams.

Tomlin for keeping his players in the game after 50’s injury.

Game balls to the entire D for stepping up in the 2nd half and only allowing 3 points after the Bungles went up and down the field on us in the first half. Also to the coaches for making the necessary adjustments.

Our D plays bad in spurts and very good in others. We need more of the very good heading into the playoffs.

He also had a wicked block that sprung bell for a huge gain.
 
Ben, Haley and the O need to wake the **** up earlier in games. My BP can’t take these last minute boz games lol.

Goat the whole Bengals team.
FU to the announcers. I rarely complain about the announcers, but last night was bad. Usually i like Gruden and he seems to like the Steelers, but last night he was just all over the place. I do not see how JuJus hit was dirty or suspension worthy. He led with the shoulder and he did clip Burfs head, but I do not think it was intentional.

Also how was brown not in concussion protocol. He got lit up in the head.

FU: anyone not wearing B&G: Bengals, their fans, the horrid officials and the booth jackoffs

Juju Ward is what I was calling him here at home last night.That young man isn't a rookie anymore. Laying the wood to a guy who has injured our qb,rb and wr in the last few years had it coming. He saved Bell last night with his block. The taunting you can't do when the game is on the line,but it worked out in the end.

Big props to Bryant for some clutch catches. And Boz for sealing the deal on the W again. This was exactly the kind of game the Steelers needed.

Never give up!
 
That was a key win.... it virtually locked up the division... it means hope for the top seed is still open even with a loss next week, and it basically ends the playoff hopes for the paper tigers...

I think Ryan's injury was a reason for the slow start on both side of the ball.

23 points on the road is not bad. Out D was without three starters ( Shazier, Haden, and Mitchell ), and at times it showed.

I'll take the win over the dirty cats, and move on. The most significant game of the season is next week

I missed that due to rain knocking out my DirecTV signal. DirecTV sucks.

How about a game ball for Bell? He steamrolled guys in a Bettis-esque manner. On one play he stiff-armed a defender and planted him on his back.
 
Cam Sutton coming off the bench to play some decent defense after Sensabaugh got abused by Green. We need HADEN back ASAP

Also, a game ball to Sutton, who replaced Sensabaugh. Green did nothing the 2nd half after that move.

Tomlin sucks!
 
Grimble got some first team snaps and did above average. His blocking seemed better than it did in preseason. James isn’t flashy but that boy usually catches everything thrown at him and didn’t disappoint either. He’s like that old truck, nothing flashy but he gets the job done.
 
Props to William Gay too.... that guy stepped up big playing ilb at times and calling the D... the NFL new style ILB is basically a safety of sorts so it does make sense
