Game Balls, Game Goats, & FU's........@ Bucs

I find it startling that we couldn't score in the second half. TB adjusted , we didn't. Also before the game on a talk show, they talked about opening up with more scripted plays. Not sure of how it helps.

IMO Ben gets the game ball on offense, followed by Mcdonald who stepped up and made a play of the game. But ben gave what we needed. Accurate, leadership. Stood firm in seemingly crazy pocket all night. Connors numbers aren't impressive. But again we were without our starting right side.

Defensively, Hilton was the best. Joe Haden was great too, but we kinda expect that from him so much. But Hilton definitely stepped it up and was a force. Bostic seemed to have a better game also.

ps. I like Watt. He was quiet last night and seemed to not be able to beat that tackle around the outside. And that's really all I saw him try. IDK. Dupree while having a nice pick. Still seems lost to me.
We only had 3 possessions in the second I think, Boz missed a fg on one and AL had a couple big penalties

Burns is the biggest goat once more, yes he makes one good tackle and the has his boys follow him to the end zone for a photo shop, he stunk up the field rest of game, he is a first rounder for goodness sake, in Tomlin's eyes. The roughing the QB get goat as well, The defense makes the offense need to score more points than the offensive play calling may allow. No imagination in the play calls. they get a bal for the scoring in the first half, they get noting second half they had the ball what five times.

The biggest goat goes to the defense and defensive coordinator, then throw Tomin in for once again come out at half with all the momentum in the world and play flat as the Bucs have the ball for over half the period on one drive.

In case you guys haven't realized this yet, but no team can play defense anymore. It's an offensive league. Leads are not a given anymore. The years of playing the Cowher defense are over. You can't sit on a lead, you have to keep scoring to win. This is now arena football, not NFL football. Turnovers on d are better than Ds that give up less yardage.

Unfortunately...you may be right. the League is definitely morphing into a higher scoring game.....on purpose. This new " don't touch the QB" **** is taking the fun out of it for us what likes to see them get squished once in a while.

Instead of this...

True it's really tough on defense now, but in the second half when we had the big lead, we got away from the blitzing and we went to that 2 DL soft defense and started dropping Watt or Dupree into coverage alot, so we were rushing 3 guys on alot of plays and that just let Fitz get comfortable in the pocket and have all day to throw
