Funny How That Is

I don't like this rationale SteelerSask.

Coaches, players, and all the talking heads always say...a game comes down to one or two plays that make a difference. That was the play!....

You could say Brees throwing the pick in OT “was the play!” as well. If they had drove to score a TD instead, then it was game over. Saints in SB.

This lack of execution can be argued was the single most determining factor of our disappointing season.
Personally---Im aligned with that thinking.

How odd it took two championship games for the NFL to address the officiating. Not one fan one team could not pick five or more plays either called or not called that cost their team a game or more. We have continued to witness some bad to terrible officiating in the last few years, nothing said or done. The plays we have witnessed called or missed, can cause more of a game change than the execution.

Both can cause bad outcomes. When some of yinz debate it seems like it always has to be this or that. It can be also both or neither.

Poor execution at the wrong time of the game can cost a team a win.

A horrible call or no call at the wrong time of the game can cost a team a win.

Thing is it is up to each team to better their efficiency.

It is up to the league to fix the ****** calls. Or no calls. Regardless if it is on accident or on purpose something needs to change.
