In an effort to raise money to hire a professional media credentialed Steelers beat writer we will be hosting a fundraiser. The goal is $2000.

We're gonna draw names for a chance to win this Le'veon Bell signed 16x20 of his touchdown on Christmas day last season.

$25 for 3 tickets
$50 for 8 tickets
$100 for 20 tickets and a 3 month subscription.

Anyway, you can send me a payment via Paypal just make sure you leave your screen name in the comments so that I know it was you.

I'll give it a couple weeks. You're the first response foe either a donation or this contest. Lol.

I really hope we can at least raise $1000. I think we can cover the other $1000. The bank is just dry at the moment.
 
I don't have a lot right now to play with, but if the deciding factor is $25 I will throw in when/if that time comes.

Alright, well we're sitting at 1 donation/entry at this point. And when I say this don't misunderstand and think I wanna guilt or force anyone to donate. Yinz already pay for your subscriptions and that. We just have to get at least $200 or I can't even buy the picture and pay to ship it to someone lol.

Well, this has been a big bust. Lol. We received 2 donations and 4 entries into the contest. Entry donations didn't even cover enough to buy the Lev Bell photo so I went with a signed Jack Ham mini helmet. I'll draw a name this weekend and get it shipped out. I should have it by Friday. Thanks TD, Slash, Mike, Guru and Coolie, Lex, and Chip for on pitching in some donations. If anyone has an issue with this choice as I know it isn't the signed Lev Bell picture let me know and I will send you back your money. Hopefully I'll be able to just pay out of my pocket for the articles when the time comes.

Don't think anyone could complain get that. I hoped you were gonna get enough. Maybe do another one during training camp when we are more hungry for news.
 
I would be interested also at a later point. My extra money is already has a claim on it at re moment. Or I would have grabbed a few tickets.

Yeah, I'm currently exploring other options. It's probably gonna come down to I'll just pay him myself out of my pocket for one story a week or something like that. We need an insider.
