Free Agent Signings

Patriots sure are adding a lot of money to the TE and WR positions

WR Agholor 2 year/$26 million
TE Smith 4 year/$50 million
TE Henry 3 year/$37.5 million

thats a lot money especially for the TE’s...

So our list should have Holliday ap Smokey brown Mercedes Lewis Eric fisher alex Mack maybe juju is not getting the offers from the jets or raiders or the jets would of signed juju rather than Davis perhaps his agent is asking to much he is not a 16 mill we. Marvin Jones would be another guy to look at both he and golliday have played bon terrible deat teams I see Kenny looking for a pay day, Marvin has been around so if we bring in ap and another vet to have this chase the ring mission jones would be a good fit. He can also get back at CinCY FOR LETTING HIM GO

They completely hoarded the TE market. Best TEs available just became cheatriots

So are we looking at a rookie or low key fa like perhaps guy or Carl Davis to play by in the 34. Not signing Tyson makes me wonder ifcthry are very interested vin shelvin slaton or the other usc dt not tufee

for that money they could have kept him if they really wanted. Guess they have other plans in mind, a true NT maybe?

Well that really sucks. I always hate this time of year..

i think this shows just how little they value the NT position now. They see it as a limited role player like a FB or a Punter.

Not sure why the pats would sign the top 2 TEs and a WR especially for that kind of money. Must be planning on a short pass attack.
If these TEs and 2nd WRs are getting this kinda money JuJu has to be worth 15mil+.

32 year old Tackle Trent Williams just signed a 6 year 138.06 million dollar contract 55.1 million guaranteed and a 30.1 million signing BONE US WOWWWWWWWW
$an Franci$co

I doubt he finishes that contract but with the gauranteed moneys he won't have to. He will finish just the gauranteed part.

Kind of like a hot chick on a date............ she will finish the high dollar meal and expensive drinks but then suddenly need to go home with a headach... that's what a friend told me

JuJu is worth only what he can get someone to pay him............. so far no takers and as time passes so his value drops.

Gronk and Hernandez revisited..thats what they are after..

John Brown to the Raiders...

John Brown to the Raiders...
Nice pick up but still leaves TE Waller as their go to guy. Ruggs didn't exactly meet expectations and they lost Angohlor so making a push for JuJu wouldn't surprise me. Carr loves Waller and JJ would give him another similar target.

A possible future bonus of Trent Williams staying with SF is it removes a 2022 3rd round comp pick which would of been high. It moves Dupree up one and may move a borderline 3rd-4th round comp like JuJu into the third. You really need to search for the silver linings if your a steeler fan during the first week of free agency lol.

Raiders were nuts taking Ruggs as the first WR off the board. He’s super fast but there’s plenty of WRs who can be that Mike Wallace one trick pony that can be had cheaper. They could have had KJ Hamler a few rounds later. They just signed John Brown.

Mayock is a good talent evaluator but he has been bad at getting draft value so far. You like Clellin Farrel and Ruggs. Great. Trade down and pick them later, don’t just draft them at your spot much higher than their value. I understand you can’t always trade back but we’re not talking about trying to trade back from a pick in the 20s, these were high picks where they could have easily traded back.

Carr is not a great QB. He needs a guy like JuJu who can be a big target. That’s also why the Pats spent so much on TE, cuz Cam needs those huge targets for his inaccurate throws.

Anyone heard from Juju? Has he left Pittsburgh yet? Either there's little interest, or there's little interest at the price he is asking. AB made Juju. We can admit that.

So now next 5 cheap options
Perriman
tate
jackson
Ross
green
fitz

Any of these can be the decoy for the long except fits who would want to use juju for the 3rd down slot

Marvin Jones WR to Jax
Andy Dalton to Chi
John Johnson S to Clev - a good pickup for them and they get Delpit back from injury
Kendrick Bourne WR to NE
Cam Erving OT to Car
Ryan Fitzpatrick to Wash

Jamal Williams RB to Det - only signed for 2 years 3.75 per year. Would have been a great addition and Williams probably would have preferred playing in Pitt and possibly being the lead back as opposed to splitting with Swift in Det. Plus having to be in Detroit. if the Steelers could pay that for a quality RB then don’t hold your breathe that they’re going to sign anybody of note.

Emanuel Sanders to Buf
Jarrad Davis LB to Jets
Devonte Booker RB to Giants
Carlos Hyde RB to Jax
Jacoby Brissett QB to Mia
Christian Kirksey LB to Hou
Tak McKinley DE to Clev
Tyrell Williams WR to Det
Mark Ingram RB to Hou
Josh Hill TE to Det
