Doesn’t make our management look so **** hot does it? Look,I was making excuses for our team too. AB put a gun to our head.....we were lucky to get a 3rd......Bell did this.....Bell did that...but the bottom line is we basically gave away the top 1-3 rub in the league and the top WR in the league for peanuts. No excuses.....any other place heads would roll. Man oh man.

I disagree about his value. At 25 when all this started there was lots there. And ge isn't just a running back. He is a generational all purpose back. In the right hands. In a contenders hands he could easily put you over the top and win a championship.

Disagree, when is the last time a top notch RB won a Super Bowl? They are a dime a dozen, as James Conner and DeAngelo Williams proved, you have a big time QB and Oline, a RB will be successful.
I'm sure the Steelers learned something, some players are complete idiot and selfish asshats. They offered to make him by far the highest paid RB in the NFL, twice and he turned it down. I'm not blaming them for anything when it comes to Bell.

Unfortunately, RBs just aren’t valued anymore though.. edge rushers are in high need.

I hear what you’re saying, and what Coryea is saying. Steelers made AB highest paid wr in the league, offered LB the most out of any RB. If a year or two ago someone would have said we would get 1-3 rd round player for each of these guys,I would have thought he was snorting the old glue. I was just reading a KC’s fans comment. Why didn’t they just pay Dee Ford instead of giving up 3 top picks

I think they changed their scheme and feel Ford didn't fit the new scheme, but apparently feel Frank does..

They had a great deal with Buffalo before AB put a stop to that, how is that the Steelers fault?

from ESPN:

The Chiefs parted with their first-round draft choice, which is 29th overall, and the teams will exchange third-round picks, sources told ESPN. The Chiefs also will send the lower of their two 2020 second-round draft picks to the Seahawks, sources told ESPN.

"I feel like I'm good. I wanted to be somewhere where I'm wanted, where I'm appreciated," Clark told ESPN's Josina Anderson on Tuesday. "I thank God that K.C. came in and showed that. ... In life, you just want to be shown that you are appreciated sometimes, and I feel like this was one of those things."

Talk about ******* over sensitive anymore. He must be learning from AB and Bell.

Shows yet again how the steelers got played in the AB deal. Clark took a plea deal on a domestic violence charge while in college. He has off field baggage and was demanding a huge contract. Didn’t stop the seahawks from getting a 1st.

the steelers straight up panicked in the AB situation. They are run by incompetents. AB came into question due to info the steelers themselves made public, then they were pressured to make a deal quickly due to an artificial deadline they imposed on themselves.

What a joke.

If the steelers had competent people in charge, they would have kept the AB situation quiet, said he was held out for an injury, then told AB that they would trade him but only if they could get a 1st rounder. All he had to do was stay quiet for a few weeks and he’d get his trade. But if he blew up the deal, the steelers would simply keep him. Rosenhaus would have advised him to stay quiet.

Ok. First off, to anyone who is making an excuse that Running backs aren't valued. Well judging by his FA contract he was pretty much well damn valued. So again let's state this. The Steelers got a 3rd and a fifth and possibly something for compensation three years later for an 8000 yd/ 5yrs multipurpose back and the best WR in the game, and some of you think the Steelers FO is doing their job? **** C'mon. The draft is loaded with edge rushing talent and The Seahawks were able to spin a disgruntled franchise tag player into a first and a second next year. That is FO work. That is why the Seahawks turned a rebuild year into a playoff year. Unbelievable. How come everyone's **** spins to gold and the Steelers just turns into diarrhea.

A great deal ? It was swapping first not getting a first

Swapping first-round picks and getting a couple of mid-round picks is a much better deal. Getting into the top-10 of the draft puts you in a different bracket of prospects and the addition of mid-round picks would've given them flexibility to trade up in the second or third rounds.

AB was always about money. They converted too much money to signing bonus and he burnt through it. Hopefully, they learned their lesson. fool me once shame on you........... If in retrospect they could have kept it quiet and had it become what it was really about..... money, they might have gotten fair compensation. Instead they got raped.

I’ll take Dirty Deals for $800

The answer is:
Amari Cooper
Odell Beckham
Frank Clark

Who are 3 guys traded for 1st round pick who are not as good as Antonio Brown?

I’ll take Suckers for $1000, Alex.

The answer is:
This team traded Antonio Brown for a 3rd round pick, a later pick, and a Rub without the Tug from Bob Kraft’s masseuse.

Who is the Pittsburgh Steelers?

There’s just as many players found in the bottom half of the round as the top half. Another first would be better, notice these other teams traded for actual first round pics.
