The fact that you're comparing some team that played in a league of five teams to a team that shut out 5 teams in the NFL makes you an inept dumbass.

Or ... It makes me a student of the game, who knows a hell of a lot more than you do about the history of the league and the teams in it .... and you are too ******* stupid to realize it.

It doesn't matter if Providence was a semi-pro team at that point - the whole point, jackass, was that they were undefeated in 1933, and they let their opponents score 0 ******* points in the entire season... so **** the 76 steelers... and so you dumb *** yokels know - the steelers lost 30-27 in week three to the Patriots that year. Somehting you all must be used to by now, the steelers losing to the Patriots that is ...

So the *** clowns here think that that team could compete with a modern day football franchise? Piss on that.

No, it doesn't make you a student of the game. It makes you someone grasping for straws. The 1976 Steelers lost to the Pats.. congrats? Doesn't make any difference. That 76 team was the best team the Steelers ever had. If not for losing half their offense in the playoffs they would've won the SB 3 straight years.

Although I don't think teams from years prior could compete with the modern era. You still cannot deny the essence of the game in the 70's. Teams like the Steelers, Raiders, etc brought rule changes, physicality. The rules protect players more now than then. If the rules were the same as the 70's. These great offensive players wouldn't be so great. The 70's Steelers teams are legends. Just as the cheats...er pats are of the 2000's

Your team is a convicted cheater that hires murderers....go piss on yourself, you ******* deluded masshole.

The 70,s Steelers could have added mass just like any modern day guy. Those guys could easily fit in this era with access to the training we have now. They had to play at a certain weight back then. Now most of the players of today's NFL wouldn't last a game against the nasty defensive rules of then. Guys like Brady and his munchkin WRs would get busted in half. We all know pretty 5 yard pass boy doesn't like to get hit. He'd turtle like a *****.

I like this post. It depends on what rules. 70's era had a lot more physicality and a lot more brutal

Mel Blount was big as is. He'd be an any era player. Mike Wagner, Jack Ham, Jack Lambert all smart and high football iq. Ham and Lambert could add mass

I'll say this though. Out of all the trolls that I've encountered on here. Patrick27 is decent. He stands by his cheats. He's ok in my book
