Uhhh Harrison had very little left in the tank the last year. He was a backup as he should have been. The fact that he wasn't able to handle that and acted immaturely is beside the point. It's the nature of the business.
 
Reminds me of the "The Bus is done" bullshit. The Bus wasnt done. He had a trip to Detroit in mind and all of you naysayers werent bringing Bussy down. When he mowed over Urlacher sealed it for me. He wasnt done! Sometimes I think these end of career players are just pacing themselves and saving their strength, will, etc for those moments when they can make the most impact. But I'm a glass half full sort of person.
 
So you think Joey Porter is HoFer then too? He has more career sacks and the same no. of All-Pros as Harrison. Look, I think James's domination for that period of time was incredible, but he also made some serious enemies with those up high and I'm not sure he has the length to his career for them to strongly consider him.

I hope I'm wrong because I really think that he does deserve it, with the greatest play ever made in Super Bowl history IMO on his resume, but I don't think those who will be voting are going to think the same way.
 
Damn. I must have thought he deserved it. Really turned that game around right before the half. I'll never forget Kenan on Weekend Update playing Harrison. He was still completely out of breath. On oxigan.
 
Harrison didn't get it because he bounced some dude's head off of the ground in the SB...
