For those wondering about Roman Wilson...sounds like he'll be hanging with Snoopy for a while

And how ****-ty our OCs have been.

I’d actually give AS a B grade this year

Offense is up about 7 points a game and has been efficient. He is handcuffed by a conservative HC, a geriatric QB that further limits him, an offense that lacks weapons as all the investment is basically on the defense AND was gifted Pat Meyers whose blocking scheme doesn’t seem to align with Arthur’s running scheme.

Heck with all the shackles that man is wearing I’d even consider a borderline A grade.

I hear yaz, but under the Tomlin eye, all OCs suck. If Tomlin would allow AS a little free-way, he’d be a way better OC. I just grouped him in with all the other Tomlin foreclosed failures.

Arthur abandoned the run, went against the Chargers defensive strengths and failed miserably on time of possession. I know players play and they failed as well.

The Chargers have dominated time of possession almost all year. This one is not unique to our game. We should have stuck with the run and pounded them all game with the jumbo package. Even if it caused a few three and outs, we had those anyway.

Tomlin is an idiot! Roman Wilson could actually be a legit #2 WR in this offense....he has the hands, he seems to be able to find holes in the zone and get seperation. Instead of benching him he should be coaching him up and trying to motivate him in the same way Chuck Noll did with Mean Joe Greene. Mean Joe Greene had his issues as a rookie and it's well documented! Noll saw it and let him get it out! That is the difference between a HoFame Coach like Noll and Mike Tomlin who should never, never ever get into the NFL HoFame.

It doesn’t matter what the Chargers do, we shouldn’t come in and play to their game tendencies.

We need to dominate time of possession in every game.

We played into their strengths instead of exploiting their weaknesses.

I stand by “We failed miserably” in that regards.

No one else is doing anything. Roman absolutely should be WR2/3 with Austin. Even Austin hasn't done much lately. The O sucks. Let Roman play and give him a chance to show what he can do. Right now, the only way the O scores is if it's off a turnover or a FG from Boz. They rarely drive down the field and score a TD. And, if I hear Arthur Smith is a genius one more time, someone just might get an arse whooping.

He made many receivers shine
That could be the opposite.
There was a Ben highlight video posted here a while back. If the receivers weren’t wide open then they were making unbelievable catches.
That video could have very well been a Steeler wide receiver highlight video.

He did have passing concepts that schemed guys wide open (something we haven’t seen a ton of in the recent past) if only the allegedly accurate QB wasn’t seeing ghosts and could make simple throws Rudy even makes then it is a different game.

Aaron was a$$

Saw a lot of missed opportunities in that game

I was told long ago that once a player shows you who he is, believe him. And so if I'm at that point, I don't know that there is (a way out).
goes for first ballot never had a losing season no one's done less with far more than they deserved coach, too

My boy sent me this today. Lookee #6:

Not one assistant promoted to head coach in EIGHTEEN years. that should say all there is to say about his abilities as a head coach. How many assistants went on to head coach under Cowher.

If everyone thinks Tomlin is so great why has he never won coach of the year. Bill Cowher did it twice without a HOF bound, Franchise QB.

I looked it up for myself. FOURTEEN assistants under BC went on to be head coaches and four went on to win SB's as head coaches. fourteen assistants to head coaching positions in fifteen years.

But did you hear about the no losing seasons?

Again, some of the most impactful pieces Ive read about sports have come from the Players tribune, a publication written by players..

One of those articles i will never forget was about Paval Datsyuk of the Red wings. The guy was super talented... and extremely creative, but NHL coaches want simple, not creative... the guy was a sixth round pick, Henrik Zetterberg was a 7th...

When first called up, he forced some pucks that led to bad turnovers. Most coaches would doghouse him abd demote him... low round pick, not playing safe...

Scotty Bowman kept those two up. He nurtured their creativity and taught them to use it within the system intelligently... in return he ended up with two players that are future HOF guys.

Your comparison of Tomlin to Scotty Bowman is truly generous.

This team has absolutely zero chance of winning meaningful games as long as this stooge is employed as their *ahem* Leader.

**** this team, and Tomlin's land of misfit/washed up toys. AR2 and sold out stadiums are the only thing that matters.
