For those who think Ben is not playing well

Umm Rodgers holds the ball and takes sacks every game. He was sacked like 4 times by the Bengals in the first half.

The underneath throw to James was not there like some suggest, the LB was right there, they showed that play from a different angle.
Last time I checked Ben can't throw the ball, run down the field and secure the ball in the wr's hands. Bryant drops a sure long TD, and Bell drops a check down that goes for at least a first down, maybe the winning g score, that's 4 check downs Bell has dropped already this year, well I mean Ben never throws the check down🙄

Coryea just the replay watching the game again now. Good throw should of been a catch. Maybe a little more loft but that would be nitpicking. Catch the ball. Im going to say on this one im wrong

I told you I rewatched it and it as so, but you had to confirm it on your own.

So that is 7 points, 11 on ST's. No chance for Ben to win it in OT.

You do the math Sherlock.

Thanks for your honesty. 👍

11 points given up by special teams
Bell and Martavis with drops
Run D ***** the bed doesn't give Ben a chance to win it in overtime.

It's Ben not Tomlin honest

LMAO

Our QB could only muster 17 points in 4 quarters. Even after the defense created two turnovers. He was forcing throws, holding the ball to long, and making poor decisions. Hell yes he is partially to blame...

How some of you are still debating this is beyond me.

P.S. That 1st throw to Bryant, while catchable, was also overthrown.

Absolutely. By no means is Ben the weakest link on the team.

But its not out of bounds to state that he has to up his game.

Ben has a career long problem with overthrowing them badly especially when they are going across the middle. That causes a lot of drops. Still you have to take the bad and the good with Ben. Yesterday was just a lot of bad.

Andrew who isn't shy on blaming Ben, just rewatched the game and said it should've been caught, that one catch puts Ben over 310 yards passing and a QB rating of 102. Ben did miss throws, but why is it not ok to expect your guys to make plays too

so I think 24 points is reasonable

again Ben was a minor reason for the loss

I wish someone would buy you a clue, my mom included.

But continue with your derp, as only you do on a daily basis.

Just out of curiosity, can you tell how much room he had to run.

Looks like alot..hold on.. there was a corner coming off his man looking at the play he would of had to make him miss for the first down

BINGO.

I find there is a corelation of the Tomlin defenders going out of their way to blame Ben for a loss, and many times they are wrong to do so. We are seeing it here.

Again, while not perfect the QB rating has the best players at the top and the worst at the bottom. Only five of 31 other starting QB's rate higher than Ben, and as you pointed out if Bell or Bryant convert on those touchdown passes, he has more yards and TD's

Any time your starting QB is 5 to 1 on TD's to INT's, and over 60% completions your team is in good shape.

And you would be wrong has everything to do with the offense we run. Its a offense to appease our QB. So there fore in my eyes he needs to play better. Yes his stats have been good doesnt mean he couldnt have played better. If we were running a offense not so pass driven i wouldnt be on him as much.

Gameplan on the road the problem imo. Ben hold, hold and hold looking downfield that's not there. Never gets his timing, gets hurried, throws high.

First off, where are you getting your stats. Because it appears we are currently 13th in QB rating in the league.

Second of all, stats don't tell the entire story. For example, Bell's 4.1 YPC are actually pretty respectable, but most who watched the game would certainly say that he was not playing great- or at least up to his potential. Which same goes for Ben (Again, unbelievable that this has to be said).

BTW coach, did you actually watch the game yesterday? haha

Its not helping Ben that Bryant and Bell dropped two TD passes. It doesn't help him he has had the no huddle all but taken away.

Haley doesn't call play action enough. He could call a screen every now and then to slow down the pass rush.

I also see a double message by some that says the OL is not as good for Bell. Well if that is so, its not good for Ben either.

Want more? Stupid penalties continue to hamstring the offense.

Use the numbers

Ben is completing 62.7% of his passes, and has 5 TD's with just 1 interception with a passer rating of 93.8. If he keeps this up, he's going to have an awesome season with about 25 TD's and 4 Int's

He was using play action quite a few times yesterday. The problem was it wasn't sellable. Bell was at best averaging 3.6 YPC and was not a threat. The ground game needs to get going. Mr. Franchise is not running the way he should be for a guy who is possibly the best back in the league. I'd love to have Howard. He looked a lot like Bettis. Bowling people over with the F-you I'm coming straight at you attitude. The guy kept playing with a boo-boo shoulder. That guy has heart.

Throw the ball to the OPEN receiver. Not AB regardless if he is open.

Playaction also doesn't work when you are throwing the deep ball 8+ times a game...

There is no doubt he has an odd tendency to kill drives by ignoring guys open for first downs in favor of forcing passes into coverage. This is true and infuriating. But in games like yesterday, the loss was a team effort. And an embarrassing one
