He's hurt AGAIN. He's almost as big of a bust as Jarvis Jones. According to Schefter he is in doubt for Sunday against GB.

He hardly plays. Amazing when he does but he is out 90% of the time.

Would love to see a recap of the careers of players we screamed about not drafting in the moment

The only one I can think of that I was really furious about, and I was justified, was choosing Worilds over Sean Lee. But even then, Lee has been hurt a lot. But when he's on the field he's amazing

No one can predict injuries or busts. I wanted the Steelers to draft Eifert and it's a shame he is hurt all the time. Shazier has had the injury bug, as well. Still good players, when on the field.

He's been in the league 5 years if you count this season. He played 1 game in 2014, and 2 in 2016. He played in 12 games in 2015 but left injured in 2 of those.

He is who I wanted.

I didn't want Jarvis due to the possible medical issues. I wasn't pissed off at the pick like some, though.

Don't forget you had the red-headed stepchild throwing him into a lot of big hits - Ben doesn't do that

I always find it amusing when people get overly excited either way about a pick. They completely forget how often they're wrong (like everyone is about the draft). It's like getting upset over calling heads on the coin toss.

I'd rather have Eiffert's pro bowl season than Jarvis's 4 sacks...

He would've never had a pro bowl season here. He would've been behind Heath and hurt when he did find the field.

At the end of the day he's still twice the player Jarvis Jones turned out to be, injured or not. And I was one of the guys who was glad we got Jones instead of the TE.

And I'd still pick him over JJ every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Maybe it would have been better for him to sit and learn and not kill himself before being the guy? Perhaps his body would have responded better? Who knows...

I'm not saying we should've taken Jones over him. I thought Jones sucked. My point was he isn't some hall of famer and they totally blew it. The guy can't stay healthy.

one thing is talent, other thing is bad luck with injuries.

Jarvis had a physical condition that probably caused him to be iinjury prone, and he also lacked talent to be in the NFL

Eifert didn't have an injury history like Jarvis, And he has the talent to play in the NFL at top level if healthy

So please don't compare them

I was on the wagon that wanted Eifert but also realize the FO has way more insight than I do. I also didn't want Holba in the 6th.......

Salute the nation

A real china doll. Better he's another teams problem.

I think if that draft was done over, knowing what we know, the front office would take Eiffert and his injuries over the "production" we got from Jarvis Jones.

To be honest I wanted Patterson. He's a big play guy and a pro bowl kickoff return man, but a bust as WR in the NFL

Did not like Eifert. He's good when healthy, but a china doll type.

Jones was a bad pick. Everyone knew it. He worked out like a rookie free agent and was not big, fast or strong, plus he was too slow in general.

Apologies to Jerome Bettis
