Mahome's is the talk of the town! By golly he lead the Chiefs to a 13-3 record in his first year as a starter (his second year in the NFL) and he's about to go to the AFC Championship game!

Some years ago a rookie QB lead HIS team to a 15-1 record and went to the AFC Championship as well.

You aint doin' nothing new Patrick. Win this weekend and we'll consider you the bomb.com.
 
Very true wig and that rookie of years past took his team to the SB and won it in his second year in the NFL. AAAhhhhhhhhhh the good O'l days where Head Coaches COACHED.

that rookie looked like **** in his first playoffs looked good until Super Bowl his second shot
 
The media is so eager to crown the next elite QB. If Mahomes beats the p@ts yes he enters the conversation, but can we please put to bed the idea Luck and Rivers are elite? Dudes haven't won ****, and Rivers is no Marino for ***** sake.

if you're comparing Luck to the other quarterbacks currently in the league, then yes the **** he is elite, are you kidding me? you don't measure if a qb is a elite by whether or not he's won a SB; it's still a team sport. Luck is at the very top tier of current quarterbacks. Now, if you want to compare him to legends of the past, then sure, that's another debate, entirely.

If you could push redo on this season and have any QB for a team aiming to win a repus wlob would you take Luck over Brady, Brees, Rogers, or Ben? If your answer is no Luck is not elite.

Unless you have sustained Marino numbers, titles should absolutely be a deciding factor imo, I guess we'll half to disagree there
 
Let's see how Mahomes performs in -1 degree weather...I'll take Brady and the points, myself.
 
I am not big on Luck far as what he has accomplished. I do think there is obvious talent there to move into elite status.

But he looks like the type that will need to age a little, or perhaps he needs better surrounding talent or coaching.

Just too early out of the gates IMO to tag him.
 
What has Roger's done? Seriously... The fact he consistently gets put at the top of any QB list is laughable. He's won ONE super bowl, and only been to one... I don't see the great best of all time QB when I watch him play.
