flacco to the bungles

I think Picketts injury forced them to keep Flacco. Once Pickett got hurt they had to keep a vet and Flacco was more familiar with the offense. Trading Flacco does not make much sense unless they were doing it as a favor to Flacco. The rookies have no one to learn off of and Flacco went to a division rival. The Bengals getting Flacco is not good for us. Cinci was dead with Browning and now have a little life. Flacco is not great anymore, but still good enough to cause us issues like last year
 
The bungles still have issues, Joe doesn’t fix everything.

He is a year older and shows it, Cleveland traded him for a reason…………… good or bad. They got literally nothing for him.

We can handle the Joe, can the Bungles handle us?

Bert's best pass is his deep PI ball.
He's been very successful underthrowing his receivers.

It would be neat to see a stat on PI/attempt for QBs......I'd wager (not with Jizzer) that Bert is near the top in NFL history.

Are they going to massage him into the line up? I don’t see a happy ending to this story.
 
Joe is a shell of his former self, but he's also better than any starter we've fielded since Ben, outside of Rodgers.
This game should not be taken lightly, nor should the Browns Game.
Anyone who's been watching coach no losing seasons should know this by now.
We will be favorites in both games.

Flacco torching us with Chase and Judkins running through the defense are both very real potential outcomes.
The Browns may have this years best Rookie RB. Kid looks like the real deal.

Flacco is 11-11 vs us and beat us last year which was sad. He is going to a team with offensive weapons so I don't think Cinci will be a cake walk. Also depends if we allow the QBs to throw the ball or we revert to our last game plan where we ran every first and second down in the first half.

First thing that popped into my mind as to why the Browns did what they did. Whatever they can do to slow this train down. No other excuse or reason for doing a trade like that within the division....unless they're trying to tank and want to give the Bengals a better chance at winning then they do.

Bang on, as Dilfer is closer to worst. I thought Bert was a tough competitor, got himself a SB MVP too.
What about DangeRuss or Brad Johnson?
Nick Foles has to go closer to Dilfer, just like those Redskin QBs (testament to Joe Gibbs, most underrated NFL coach ever).
 
with only two rooks on the roster, you almost have to think the Clowns believe DeAnus will be coming back soon.

True but he did get a Super Bowl ring, something Cam Heyward and T.J. Watt will never have.
 
if im haslam.. id trade him too.. See what the other guys got. If im the bungles it kind of makes sense if you have ZERO trust in their qb.. But do you bungles not have prospects you want to see what they can do? Steelers have a great stable of QB's.
 
Glad to see that he's going to be a starter again. Why? The easiest money on the board every week:

Joe Flacco to throw an interception -- YES

Hasn't missed yet here in 2025. Take it to the bank.
