By: John Walker, @realjohnwalker SteelerNation.com Saturday, the NFL saw a blockbuster trade take place between the Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets that sent First-Team All Pro safety Jamal Adams out to the AFC East. With yet another young star safety on the move, it was going to be interesting to see the price tag […]

Do I think Adams is a good player ....yes ............. do I think he is an entitled mouthpiece that cares about himself above teammates and organization........hell yes...
Seattle just landed Earl Thomas 2.0 in the pain in the *** department........ and gave up a fair amount of draft capital to land him...... some organization's swing for the fences when all that is needed sometimes is a single... it is just in their DNA ....... Seattle, Dallas, Raiders to name a few .......

Pittsburgh will take a pitch and try to make solid contact
In Minkah they hit a home run....... good teammate.... hard worker....... minus the over the top mouthpiece ....... good trade

We are building an elite defense and I think he will be a key part of it for years to come :positive:

On the surface, it seems like a lot to give up, especially considering what the Seahawks will have to pay to keep Adams, but he's a great player and is just 24 years old.

They have a cornerstone player on defense to complement Wilson and the offense.

Whether they can afford to put enough around them in coming years is a real question, though.

ADAMS has been a vocal tear down disgruntled player. At first he will be OK in Seattle, but he will faulter into himself with-in a season or two. As long as things are going his way he will be ok. I kinda wish Sherman was still there, imagine them two loudmouths together.

Salute the nation

Just saw Lev Bell and J Adams bantering back and forth on twitter.

Love me some turmoil........ just wish I could understand the language they use........ is there a translator available to decode the likes of AB, Lev Bell and company..... I just like feeling somewhat educated but fail miserably when it comes to deciphering these dudes ............someone please throw me a life line.........I am drowning in their cesspool

Funny how Lev Bell has such a strong opinion about teammates lying about allegiance to the club.........

I agree Sherman talked a lot in his day......... but he is an intelligent dude......... I think Adams is just loud......... I just like guys who let the play on the field do the talking..... all the macho self promoting does not impress me one bit

Yeah, Bell is about as hypocritical as one can be.

Maybe he just toked away the memory of misleading his Steelers teammates about his intentions of playing in 2018.

Agree... and he goes on about people who go on social media to gain notoriety.... how about picking up the phone and having a personal conversation with Adams to discuss the news ...

2 1st rd picks and a 3rd. wow. 2 1st round picks in 3 trades over the last few years and we could not get one for AB. what a ******.

Isn't this the same guy that ignored Ben's phone calls during his holdout?

WE could have if we dealt him strait to NE!

Also years remaining on contracts was huge. Adams has one year left on his rookie deal before his contract escalates. We have 2 more years then can use the 5th year option on Minkah (not to mention he already played nearly a full season with us). This is why we weren't trading for Adams. We essentially got a rookie with one year of seasoning for a 1st round pick. Excellent value!

**** NE and AB both

I don't give a damn about the Adam's deal. The only thing I care about is the problem we were having with pour DBs and I think Fitzpatrick is going to be able to help out in that area.

There is no doubt in my mind that he will play this year and if not signed to the biggest safety contract of all time will sit out. He seems to be that type. They might have traded all that capital for one year. Time will tell.
