First time this November!!!

That is 6 times the value of the LS10.

You’re just mad because you can’t pass your LS10 driver certification test…………………

Like I’ve said the last 6 times you’ve taken it……… ”This could be the one”………………

Remember, you are always welcomed for practice test trials,
but I think it’s the academic part you are having troubles with….

Put down the BonBons and quit watching Married with Children,… while studying.

I'm up for this thx. Is it a bring your own food and beer thing, or a put some cash in event?
It is a flat fee all you can eat and drink. You just bring yourself. It is wonderful for travelers staying at a hotel who can't really bring their own tailgate supplies. You might even get to meet a few of us.

Don't tell them who you are until you get a list of attendees. Just a word of caution.

I'm going with my son who is 25 (for 7 days), he's going for the food though :)
Are there any bird and wildlife sanctuaries?

Dave .. .

Sounds like it is going to be an awesome trip! While your son might be going for food, I would not recommend the birds or wildlife at the sanctuaries or zoo for same. :)

Do you get a full refund if Supe shows up?

NO, Supe will be manning the “HUMAN” waste Dunck chair all afternoon, so free throws though……………

I thought monkeys threw things at him.

That came from Supe’s younger days………… Supe’s love of Bruce Arians showed him how Bruce use to rent my One Armed **** Flinging Monkeys all the time, so Supe applied and got a job working for my monkey rental company. He made a GREAT “moving” target for my young students, many going onto the BIG’s.

Unfortunately for Supe,…….. He got caught “fraternizing” with some of the students and had to be let go……….

There is a ton to offer in Pittsburgh. If you want a sense of the history of the city, the Heinz History Center and Sports Museum and Carrie Furnace tour would be two of my must dos.

Stadium tours are probably a cool idea. The Steelers just opened up a Hall of Honor Museum at the stadium.

Strip District - Primanti's, Pamela's, Kelly O's, Deluca's (breakfast spots), 'Burgh and Bites food tour. You'll be able to find Pittsburgh merch here as well. The Heinz History Center is an awesome local museum with a sports museum inside as well.

Market Square - a bunch of restaurants in downtown. Millie's Icrecream and Milkshake Factory are nearby.

Northside - A lot of museum options. Carnegie Science Center and the National Aviary. If you're looking for something a little different, the Andy Warhol Museum, Mattress Factory, or Randyland are good spots to hit.

Station Square - shopping and restaurants, Gateway Clipper (cruise the river), the Inclines to Mt. Washington

Oakland - University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. Cathedral of Learning, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Carnegie Museum of Art, Phipp's Conservatory, Schenely Park

Elsewhere - Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium. I'd also HIGHLY recommend the Carrie Furnace tour. It's a tour of an old steel mill and really highlights the history of Pittsburgh.

Into the outdoors? Drive about 1 hour 15 minutes to Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water. Down the road from there is the state park Ohiopyle with a ton of great hiking trails. Jonathan Run Trail (and some offshoots) is a great waterfall hike. Ferncliff Trail is an easy hike and Meadow Run Trail goes by natural water slides and a couple of other cool sites. A longer hike is Baughman Trail, which goes to a nice overlook.

There are probably a ton of good burger places, but I like Moonlit Burgers in Dormont. They're smash burgers and are pretty good.
If you're interested in the Falling Waters tour be sure to book way ahead of time. The tours are sold out well in advance. You won't be able to walk up and get a tour the day you are there. They do have a free tour of the property, you just don't get to go inside, this self guided tour needs no reservations. Ohiopyle also has river rafting tours ranging anywhere from a lazy river to class 4-5 rapids for the experienced rafter.
