I found a screenshot in my phone of a scenario I made in hopes we got a 1st from Oakland. Obviously that didn’t happen. But man, look at this dream draft I had. Not sure I agree with a B- grade but hey, what can ya do. In my opinion, this would be an A++++ draft for Pittsburgh.

Your score is: 27101 (GRADE: B-)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 20: White, Devin, ILB/OLB, LSU (A+)
Round 1 Pick 27 (OAK): Baker, Deandre, CB, Georgia (A)
Round 2 Pick 20: Wilson, Mack, ILB, Alabama (A-)
Round 3 Pick 19: Hockenson, T.J., TE, Iowa (A+)
Round 4 Pick 20: Campbell, Parris, WR, Ohio State (A+)
Round 6 Pick 2: Love, Bryce, RB, Stanford (A+)
Round 6 Pick 19: Johnson, PJ, DT, Arizona (A+)
Round 7 Pick 5: Boykin, Miles, WR, Notre Dame (A+)

1st 4 pics could all be 1st rounders

Really this is all BS TJ Hockenson dropping to the 2nd or 3rd. Pure fantasy

That’s why in mine I put “dream draft”. It’s a simulation. Very very unlikely that hockensen is even there in the 2nd round. Yet the first 4 picks of mine were all far fetched. But you look at all of these drafts, I bet most of us don’t get more than 1 player right that we draft period. Mock drafts are all fun and “fantasy” you just can’t predict these things.

In this mock Devin White fell so I gave up 1st, 3rd, and 6th round picks to move up 4 spots. In round 2 there were still 3 really good corners available so I traded back 2 spots to regain a pick and still got arguably the best corner in the draft.

As we get closer to draft day I'm getting the feeling that WE HAVE TO MOVE UP SIGNIFICANTLY to get Devin Bush.

My humble opinion would project somewhere between 11 and 15...

The only reason I don't like this is because you don't have any Alabama players...

Hard to tell. Depends on the run of QBs and O-linemen and D-linemen. And pass rushers. I could see him there at 20...we'll see.

Devin White and TJ Hockenson gone early
Devin Bush I attempted to move up for but was beat out in trade value to another team targeting him
After those 3 players were not attainable I moved down in small incriments twice in the first round and then used the equity accumulated to work my way back up in the mid and late rounds

Your score is: 29103 (GRADE: A-)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 30 (G.B.): Jeffery Simmons, DT, Miss. State (B+) BPA without his injury I think he would easily have been top 14 of this draft - we don't need him immediately, so he can recover and have a potential probowler for 5 years

Round 2 Pick 20: Johnathan Abram, FS, Miss. State (A) we will probably being saying good bye to Sean Davis at the end of this year and this guy is an upgrade

Round 2 Pick 27 (IND): Irv Smith Jr, TE, Alabama (A-) TJ gone, Fant doesn't block as well so Irv Smith provides a good combination of both with big play possibilities

Round 3 Pick 2: Mack Wilson, ILB/OLB, Alabama (A-) No Devins attainable --next best option Wilson or Coney in the third round is something I can live with

Round 3 Pick 11 (G.B.): Trayvon Mullen, CB, Clemson (A+) Taking Greedy, Byron Murphy or Baker in the first round was an option but nothing about those 3 makes me feel like I just passed up on a future Deion Sanders or Joe Haden or even Artie Burns

Round 3 Pick 19: Riley Ridley, WR, Georgia (A+) He is not as good as his brother but with the signing of D. Moncrief we have time for him to develop

Round 4 Pick 20: Miles Boykin, WR, Notre Dame (A+) I know back to back WRs --- Take a flyer on a guy at 6'4" 220 lbs that runs a 4.42 40 yard dash and has good cone drill numbers and a 43.5 vertical -- think a bigger Martavius Bryant without the issues and who catches the ball away from his body. Ben you can't complain about this opportunity. He didn't really have a great QB feeding him in college.

Round 5 Pick 7 (T.B.): Jamel Dean, CB, Auburn (A+) Another situation like Jeffery Simmons with an injury but once again huge physical talent and time to heal and develop (Tomlin stay away from this guy, let someone else take the lead)

Round 5 Pick 20 (BUF): Bryce Love, RB, Stanford (A+) I know this reads like an injury report but Bryce Love was talked about in the top 5 RBs in previous years, so for a fifth round selection damn right I am taking a back with some speed to break some long gains mixed in with J Conner

Round 6 Pick 8 (BUF): Khalil Hodge, OLB/ILB, Buffalo (A) depth pick

I think a lot of the these players have been re evaluated on the site since the combine.
But boy would adding another TJ to our line up in the 3rd round be sweet.
