Fire Tomlin.

To be quiet honest...i was expecting them to win. Hopefully this brings some needed changes!

Tomlin and Ben have never won in Oakland against bad bad teams. Why would you think they would win today when Tomlin is the head coach and after 2 hours of pregame warm ups the piece of **** still had the team in the wrong cleats. he is beyond stupid he is a phony, big talking *****. He is so far from competent that without Ben his tenure would be over and he would be a Rich Kotite footnote in the NFL.

Ben is durable and played well. Tomlin “ thought “ he could win the game with Dobbs.

We were barely winning with Ben. How anyone believes he would hold him out after he's cleared is laughable. I am tired of Tomlin too, but that's ridiculous even for the most staunch Tomlin hater to believe. He said so, that makes it fact all of a sudden?

My agenda is, I won't ever believe in a game that important, that any coach is holding out their starting QB in a must win if he's cleared. Tomlin can say whatever he wants to try and do what he feels he needs to do. You choose to, for whatever reason believe him today, when everyone questions everything else he says. But I can't question if he's being genuine for his own reasons? I don't hate Ben, so any of that stuff is a non starter with me. My dislike for our coaching staff is a legit subject though.

Your comments always suggest otherwise. You are continually apologizing for Tomlin and crapping all over Ben. Must be one hell of a fantasy land you live in.

You're ******* crazy. I don't apologize for Tomlin. I can't stand his coaching, but I know the Steelers aren't letting him go so why repeatedly talk about it? I get pissed off when our best players **** the bed. Ben isn't above it when he plays poorly, just like every other player. He's likely the best QB we've ever had, and we're a top ten drafting team without him.

If someone still has this game recorded. I swear the woman reporter said Ben had his helmet taken from him. when he came back out on the field

Yeah if Tomlin says it, I tend to believe him. That is why I choose to believe him. Because i have trust that he is just that ******* stupid.

There is that too I suppose. He's an idiot, unfortunately Captain Thesaurus isn't going anywhere any time soon.

I'd really like to know what AB said behind that towel after the Raiders TD.

well he was laughing. what the **** could be funny at that point in the night?

So here we are, and no Steelers fan should be in shock moving forward with results.

The template:

Tommy Tom will be the head coach until Ben retires and this team sinks in the process. His teams will do just enough to satisfy the participation trophy owner.

Who knows that tickets will be sold, and fans will purchase merchandise and watch. That won't alter until the only reason this team is above .500 leaves. Know it learn it expect it live it.

You do not jump up and down like Ben was doing without wincing on the sideline if you have a rib injury. The jarring motion would have been painful beyond belief and Ben is not exactly a guy with a high threshold for pain.

jumping up and down and throwing a football with any velocity is 2 different things.

So you think jumping up and down with a rib injury is less painful than throwing a football "? You must have never had bruised or cracked ribs. Any jarring motion like Ben was f=doing would be excruciatingly painful, unbearable and yet drama queen Ben did not even wince, he was fine to play football as he showed when he finally came in after Dobbs flowed out of the game so to speak.

bruised cracked and 1 broken in a car crash. I can tell you I would rather have a broken rib than a bruised one as far as pain goes

bruised and cracked in sports and 1 broken in car crash to be clear. all suck but bruised just seems to hurt more

By the way tomlin admitted Ben was cleared to play the second he came out of the tunnel with 8:45 left in the 3rd quarter.

ever think he is not that much of a drama queen and just does things while hurt that other qbs wouldn't?

how many times do you hear a coach or player say, yeah we are just waiting for the shot to kick in before we get him back out there.

I don't think Tomlin is a bad coach, but as each year goes by, it seems like he's maxed out what he can do with this team. This year is an exception because this team is underachieving big time right now.

face it, we are stuck with Tomlin as long as Ben is the QB. They will not do a do-over with a new HC at this time of Ben's career. Not this year or even next year. Tomlin can say and do all the right things to keep him in this position. They are not bringing in an older coach like McCarthy. They can fire Butler, cut Boswell to make half of the base happy, but nothing else will change. All this Fire Tomlin talk is hot air. One SB win, no losing seasons, still in 1st place, blah, blah, blah. . . we are who we are and are stuck with HCMT. Even if they lose the next three and miss the PO. Live with it and because it is what it is. The Rooney's do not have balls to gamble. The Rooney Way will always win!

He was CLEARED to play the second he came back on the field. He was jumping up and down he was ready to play but Tomlin went with his gut and lost once again. Problem is Tomlin is a fat *** with a huge gut and a pea brain with a small brain, a bad combination for a stupid arrogant head coach who has no fear for his job. Not a shock the moron was a huge Hillary supporter, entitled *******, him and Hillary.

why didn't Tomlin use his last TO for Boz to get his footing and positioning? No need to rush him out there for such an important kick. He didn't use his head at all in that last two minutes.

That's actually a really good point, and something I missed.

Maybe the ******* gets a bonus check for keeping unused timeouts in his pocket, or something.

I'm not so sure.

I think the Packers created a new template by firing McCarthy, a coach with a winning record, and one who's well-regarded around the league.

It could happen with Tomlin. A lot of the "he-will-never-be-fired" talk stems from him being a minority hire.

But he can be fired. And that got closer to happening with today's loss.
