Who put a gun to your head and made you read it? Did you call the police?

well, the thread has no base. Does reading my opinion of this thread bothers you that much?

When did I say it was at Heinz? I just said old one was at 3 Rivers. Can you not grasp the difference?

Whoopity doo. What's that prove?

Yes, and it is shared with Pitt athletics as well.

Zippity doo dah! And this proves what again? It is relative how?

Nice PR piece. Now what does that prove again? How does that prove that the STEELERS employ state-of-the-art training regimens that address the common error in the lack of posterior chain development? Do they use any Inverse Curl machines which great decrease hamstring and knee injuries? Do you even realize how they make their new equipment purchases decisions? I am sure you haven't a clue.

If I know nothing on the subject, by comparison, your knowledge is at the infantile level. Again, on what criteria do they make new equipment purchasing decisions? Come on, you think you know everything, so spill it.

And what is their general protocol on training, and how antiquated are their programs? How many meetings and meals have you had with world-renown trainers?

Lol....

Your ignorance is so overwhelming that it is pointless to even respond. It's like taking a fight with a 5-year-old seriously.

How many meetings and conversations have you had with world-renowned trainers, including NFL guys? Let me guess: that would be a big fat zero, wouldn't it?

By the way, I only said that I was at the gym at 3 Rivers, but I know others who have been to the current one. I am hardly basing my assertions on only from my visit. I am up-to-date with their current program. I don't have to be there in order to know. Why am I wasting my time with such a slackjaw as yourself? You know nothing about training for athletic performance or injury prevention. Not a single thing. You're just some know-nothing Yinzer who gnashes his teeth and howls at the moon while in the state of pure ignorance.

Of course its pointless for you to respond, because you don't have anything qualitative that would constitute a coherent and lucid argument to your claims. So basically you've defined the term ignorance based on your own comments. Thank you.

I might add you probably would know what its like fight with a 5 year old as you probably do so often to stroke your enormous infantile ego.

You haven't been to the facility, but base your assertions on those you know who have been. Yet you are up to date with their current program? Yes we know one doesn't have to be physically present in order to be familiar with a subject. However, you question the direction of the organization, but don't supply any evidence to support your opinion (based upon those you know). Hey I know such and such because I know a guy who saw this or read something somwhere.....yes, provide objective findings for sure.

As for my experience with professional trainers, physical therapists,or any other clinician of the Athletic Trainers Association, that's really irrelevant to the topic at hand, as your claims were about the franchise's value of a weight workout program. But I can say I've worked with Board Certified physicians from all clinical disciplines including some orthopedic specialists and surgeons who partnered with various trainers at PFATs as well as other professional sports clinical associations. I can most assuredly guarantee they know more about the physiological make up of mechanical and non-mechanical musculoskeletal injuries than you could ever fathom or even try to understand. Purely speculative on my part, but you probably think you do from your Pop Warner days, or heck I'll give you the credit of possibly playing High School sports, football included. Which obviously makes you think you have the supreme understanding what a professional athlete requires in order to be a successful one. Time to wake up from your dream state. You don't and probably never will. However, that doesn't mean you wouldn't have the opportunity to be an acquaintance with someone who does, or even easier, find objective evidence to support your claim. Either way, you rarely ever put forth the effort to substantiate the facts you say exists.

As for your comments that you were only talking about Three Rivers about the current organizations "value in the use of leading edge training techniques with workout machines rather than free weights . Sure Pop, whatever makes you feel better, but its called backtracking. So quit waisting your time trying.

You just proved every single part of his post was true by this response alone. Lets see some proof of what YOU know, not what you found online and stole as your own ideas, what do YOU do on a daily for a training regime, since you KNOW SO MUCH about training, certainly you must put some hours in at the local iron works. So far this thread has your "I know a guy who know's a guy" opinion, followed by a few posters with ACTUAL proof, followed by your picking and choosing of ONE WEEKS injury report, from SHOCKINGLY New England, then some more name calling, and belittling from yourself...but I haven't read much "proof" from you of this knowledge that you somehow have over everyone else.

So please Arnold, enlighten all of us.
