Favorite villians over the years

Not ******** on lists, but to be a villain I think you have to act a certain way. Just because you hated a dude because he killed the Steelers he isn't a villain in my opinion. Guys like Ward, Peezy, Harrison were villains to some fan bases, but not one of them wouldn't have taken any of those three guys on their team. Jack Lambert would have been a super villain in his time. To me Brett Favre and Dan Marino were not villains.

Bill Romanowski, Vontez Burfict, Terrell Suggs. Those guys are Villians. Suggs is the only one of those three I would have wanted as a Steeler though.

Romanowski was a world class prick. Along with Teddy ******* Bruschi.

Coach could have used HEAD SIZE in his evaluation of Bruschi. When he was "roided" up his head was huge and then post football / roids his head shrank, I wonder if I'm talking about Teddy or coach, either or you get my drift..................

Belichick.

Beating that cheating ************ gives me satisfaction.

I think Donnie broke his ribs on that play.

I was too young to see it live but certainly watched the video (a lot) and that mofo (Campbell) had to be helped off the field. Shell didn't even have a lot of momentum going, but he hit him square in the ribs, and he hit him hard. Now I gotta find the video to post it.

WhoAly cow batman I love watching that play over and over. I'm not rooting for Earl to get hurt and I feel for him in that regards but dang that SHELL kid brought the wood. It just shows the toughness / greatness / dynamics of the SUPER STEELERS of that ERA.

EDIT: Huston had it set up pretty well, greenwood and ham both got squeezed out of the p[lay so EARL made the first two levels and BAM that third one got him.

Just watched it again and 5'11" 190 lbs (saying that's pretty light for an NFL defender is an understatement) of straight thunder.

In fairness Earl was off balance coming out of a spin. Not saying it wasn't a good hit, but Earl was kinda sideways when hit. I Think Shell would have been trucked if Campbell was able to get squared up for even a couple steps.

See this is where you lose me, and probably quite a few other people. So what if Campbell was 'kinda sideways' when he was hit? Do you remember when Hines Ward was hit straight in the helmet by Safety John Lynch while just turning around after catching a pass? He wasn't exactly in the greatest position either, but he popped right back up and ******* smiled.

Campbell was known for being a serious bruiser and I'm sure with a full head of steam against 190 lb guy, he probably would have trucked him (I don't know about getting squared up after just a couple of steps though as you seem so confident about). But he didn't. He got his *** handed to him instead and laid there on the ground until he had to be helped off the field. *** handed to him by a Pittsburgh Steeler. An undrafted guy out of a small college who by all accounts was also seriously underrated.

So just enjoy the ******* hit FFS.

ALL villains agreed but would you want them or anyone of them as a STEELERS player, as the original poster asks ?

The guy I hated was Sanders. Still do. Couldn’t stand that mouthy no tackling prick. But I would have put the black & gold on him in a heartbeat. His play on the field backed up all his trash talk.

Burfict was a definite villain, but I never would have wanted him on my team.

I remember really hating Ochostinko and Whosyourmama.

Houshminzattamama went to far on the disrespect of the "Terrible Towel" to ever want him as a STEELERS player (for me anyways).

Kenny Stabler and the Oakland raiders

I knew when that happened it would bite them in the ***. I've kinda thought recently that when the team had AB and Bell that the Steelers became Bengal like. All talent no heart. for all the problems last season the team had heart. I don't think you can win with guys who are really over the top me first dinks.

Frank Wycheck- MoFo is open AGAIN on 3rd down and long.

I think Wycheck started the onslaught of the 'we don't remember how to cover a TE' nonsense. Or maybe that was happening even before him.

Cant remember his name at the moment. The defensive back for the titans about 10 -15 yrs ago.... Big mouth. I didn't appreciate him as a player...

Gronk would be up there as a nemesis who I respected..

Kenny Stabler and the Oakland raiders

Yep. When I mention my dislike of the Raiders today, people don't understand, with how bad they have been.

George Atkinson and Jack Tatum. Phil Villapiano is right up there, although I have an autographed picture of him. He's a Jersey guy, and I worked with a guy who knew him, and got me an autographed picture. I was surprised he did, because I told the guy I knew to tell him they wouldn't have won **** if Franco and Rocky were healthy. Haha.
