I'm looking for guys that got you worked up, but that deep down, you kind of enjoyed playing against. The kind of guys you would have liked if they had worn the Black and Gold.. For me, this eliminates thugs like Bill Romanowski, and Vontaze, or knuckleheads like T.O. Three come to mind for me. First is Clay Matthews Jr. Guy was a fine player, and during the time when the Browns were at the top of the hate list along with Dallas, and Oakland, it seemed like he played forever. To me, he was the damn face of Cleveland, and I was always annoyed to see him out there, but I'd have loved him as a Steeler. Second is Kenny Stabler. Loved his style of play, but of course the sight of him on the field against the Steelers, always made me a nervous wreck. Third would be Terrell Suggs. Love him as a player, and was always fun to root against, but never with the venom Ray Lewis drew. Had Suggs been a Steeler, he'd be one of the most popular Steelers ever.

I can't believe I'm saying this....sigh....Ed Reed. ****, I feel like I need a shower. 2nd would have to be Warren Sapp. I remember that prick jogging through the Steeler's formation while they were warming up and Bettis jumped up and shoved him. Hated him...but damn he was dominant. 3rd. Deion Sanders. I can't stand guys who run their mouths and wear costumes, but he had the best second gear I've ever saw.

Apologize for the poor spelling, villians instead of villains, sheesh, I can't type worth a damn.

Having watched Troy for his whole career, I can appreciate Ed Reed, and how good he was. The two safety positions have different responsibilities, and those two were just masters at them.

My hate for Burfict is #1. He played to hurt people after the whistles. He does not belong in the NFL.

#2 is Suggs, who just hurt people between the whistles (along with Ray Ray), but Suggs always seemed to be more disruptive when playing the Ravens.

#3 is Ngata, Breaking Ben's nose was the reason.

Don't like Pacman either. Terrible human being and dirty football player.

Suggs was always a guy U ****** hated but I would have made a Steeler in a heartbeat. He was kind of a Peezy character. Really got under the skin. And his play backed his mouth.

Steve Mcnair. he was a Steeler killer. Hated him. Had he been a Steeler, I would have loved him and we probs pick up one for the thumb a bit earlier.

McNair would fade towards the sideline, running just fast enough to avoid the sack, then at the last possible minute, he'd hit some guy 25 yards down field. Used to just kill me.

Steve McNair. Terrell Suggs. Rashean Mathis.

Brett Favre would have been Bradshaw 2.0 and when we had garbage at the position.

Steve Atwater would have been a heavy hitter to go with Woodson and Lloyd defenses.

John Riggins would have been awesome too.

All good players, but not really guys with much history against the Steelers. I'm looking for guys who got under your skin as Steeler opponents, but that you appreciated as players.

The two guys I feared were Marino and Elway. Going up against them with the QBs we had in the '80s and '90s was just terrifying!

The hated one would be Ray Ray # 52.

You already mentioned him, and no ******* way I would have wanted him a Steeler, but if Bill Romanowski didn't make your blood boil you didn't have a heart beat.

That ******* guy would make me want to run through my TV screen!

Tom Brady the ultimate villain and steeler killer. I would have loved to have Gronk on the team even though he is not that hated.

Let's see...

I call this the "Respected" list. Hated these guys, but you had to respect their game.

Ed Reed.

John Lynch

The ******* human tank, Rob Gronkowski.

Romanowski was a world class prick. Along with Teddy ******* Bruschi.
