Favorite PLAY against the rats...............................

Yup. That one was in Memorial Stadium, the year before the moved to PSI Net / now M&T Bank. I went with the athletic director (ravens fan) and I was the sports club director. The crowd for that stadium was damn near 50/50. I was quiet for the most part, then Willie Blackwell ran back the 2nd half kick. Kordell had a 70yd run, and a long pass to Ward. That game was epic.

I was at most of the Balt games, since I lived there. Ben's broken nose, Batch coming back to win (and got the Ravens OC fired, though they won the SB that year), the Santonio TD catch coming out of the EZ. Knocking out Heath Miller and running it back for a TD. Tons of memorable plays.

I also love the monster game Debo had in Pit on Monday night where he had like 5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles (one on special teams on Reed). He was a monster!

I Remeber that DEBO game like yesterday and I Remeber think I'm so glad he is a STEELERS player and dang he is good. That game contributed to him becoming one of my favorite playing players. Oh how the mighty has fallen. Can't take that game or his steller play away...............

I thought In saw him pop (not PoPs) in once during pre-season. Not much to say.................. He was always a good NON-troll during those HAYMAKER games of ours.

Too many to pick one. Most of my favorites have been mentioned:

- Troy’s pick six to send us to the SB
- AB’s helmet catch (although I thought that was against the Jets)
AB’s “great extension” Xmas Day catch
- Hines’ lighting up of Ed Reed
- Santonio’s goal-line (by a hair) catch
- Ryan Clark lighting up their running back (can’t remember his name)
- Debo’s “our of his mind” game. I think it was more like a half

I could go on and on, but you get the point. 🤣🤣🤣

I remember crossing paths with Ed4prez when I first started here.
Hope he's alright.

I think I saw him not the long ago on the who is online list. I think sometimes he just looks in and doesn't post.

That's too bad, he's a great poster, and a lot of fun. Plus It's a treat to get outside perspectives on this team that welcomes fans from other fan bases. He rode out the roughest rivalry years of our teams, and was always well respected here. Now THAT is tough to do.

pick 6 the RB to seal the W after troy FF was to Isaac Redman the RB Clark lit up was willis Macagee

Another off field play

I went to PITTSBURGH and it was baltimore at PITTSBGURGH. Kordel was sacked five times I think and kind of beat up on all game. We won but after game (three rivers) I waited outside for auto graphs (got many). Stewart came out and was going to leave and I hollard where I was from and he heard me (I'm from a long ways away and he acknowledged that), he came across road security gaurds keeping people back. He autographed my stuff and talked for a few minutes. He was very cordule and thanked me for coming all this way. I thanked him for his slash / QB role and shook hands. VERY good memory.

Cordial Kordell? There's a nickname to make up lol

That hit on McGahee was brutal.

That was one of the few times watching football that I thought someone just may have died. Granted, I didn't witness the 70's slobber-knockers but that was brutal is right. I think the whole stadium was relieved when he actually did finally show signs of life.

I remember Ray the Knife waiting for the cameras to get in his praying position and them playing "Down On The Corner" by CCR and people complaining later that it was because McGahee was down.

There was a LOT of things rayray did for the "camera". Like when he was in jail and they did an interview...... This was the early part of his incarceration..... You could see in his eyes he was scared shitless and also by the way he averted his eyes you could tell the whole truth wasn't coming out. Wait till he is inducted there will be a lot of listening to rayray listen to himself talk.
