Joe Montana - I had Kid's size football with a printed signature, a 49'ers helmet and his jersey as a kid. My Saturday's were spent running the West Coast offense to perfection, throwing to imaginary Receivers. Such is life growing up in the sticks.

I've hated Montana ever since the 1979 Cotton Bowl....

Not to take anything away from Campbell, he was indeed great, but remember this.

Wow..I don't remember that one!

You have to admit though that Wagner had him spun around and off balance before he got Shell-acked.

Campbell used to get up very very slow after getting tackled. When asked if that annoyed him Bum Phillips replied " no, because he goes down very slow".

One of the toughest men ever to bring down I tell ya. Very humble too.
