The elderly +++++++comorbidities, that's it, but our economy, family gatherings and kids educational and social development were sacrificed for political gain.

The whole thing was a circus on both sides. Of course Fauci should have answered questions, but it was clear he was not going to. The whole thing was a waste of time It was like Lynch at the SB. From my understanding since Fauci was pardoned so he really can't plead the 5th. Without any consequences who really trolled who? Fauci still gets the last laugh unless someone with balls actually does something instead of acting like a fake tough guy for show.

You are correct in that because he was given a preemptive pardon, he cannot claim the 5th. At that point his refusal is nothing more than obstruction of justice and hopefully someone will have the balls to pursue that. There is no rational logic in defending this man, he destroyed lives for personal gain and adulation from the beautiful people.
I suspect and hope that he does not have the last laugh, for the sake of the lives he ruined without an ounce of regret.

No it’s not.
A witch hunt is defined as persecuting someone that is a threat to you or your beliefs, a political opponent, or someone with unpopular views.
Fauci is none of the above.
You should know what a witch hunt is because that’s exactly what you people did to Trump.

Fauci was pardoned.
And to brush you up on the definition of pardon as well, it means to forgive someone of a crime. Or a crime he may have committed.

People who have nothing to hide, hide nothing. And this is a completely different situation affecting serious public health issues, has got nothing to do with the Comey situation so I don’t know why you keep bringing that up. Don’t you think we deserve to know the truth about whether one of our top public health officials was being honest during a global pandemic?

That said, do you think inciting violence against the President of the United States is ok? If he had posted a picture of seashells spelling out “Kill Donald Trump”, which most people would argue is the same thing as saying “86 47”, would that be ok?

It was a NOVEL virus. He was giving guidance based on what little was known, it changed as more was learned. SCIENCE. Not a lie.

No. Fauci wrote that is was like influenza, with lesser danger. Thus he committed pFraud in his clear overstatement of the dangers, repeatedly. "Novel" does not mean dangerous, and Fauci possessed the data and the acumen to understand and contextualize this and then did so in his private writings.

Then he lied to POTUS, the medical establishment and the people.

Except the things he was telling the public appear to contradict things he said in private and in his diaries.

When did I ever defend people saying “Hang Mike Pence?” I was equally appalled by that.

She and others seem to forget Trump is the one who initially shut the country down. The world was calling him racist and xenophobic for not wanting travelers and immigrants from countries where it was running rampant into this country. He was largely responsible for fast-tracking the vaccine you love so much. The difference between Trump and some others and Dr. Fauci is that when they got new information they pivoted. When they learned covid was largely only dangerous for the elderly and other high risk individuals, they worked to try and get life back to some kind of normalcy. They recognized shutting down the world indefinitely ALSO had very negative consequences for people, and that natural immunity was a thing, and they adjusted, while Fauci and his ilk stubbornly stuck to oppressive overbearing policies that clearly weren’t even working.

The pardon goes all the way back to 2014, which coincidentally is the same time he partnered with the Wuhan lab. Hopefully he gets what he deserves one way or the other.
