F-I-R-E T-O-M-L-I-N!!!

You have to be the first guy in history to say that points do not matter just so you can continue arguing. If you think being 20 th out of 32 in that respect is a top defense,I don’t know what to say. Some teams have a bend and don’t break, give up yards but don’t give up much in the RedZone. You do realize that points win games ,right? And giving up points losses games.
Anyway we will agree to disagree.
Jesus man. Every NFL defensive ranking is primarily done by yards. I agreed it doesn’t make sense but it is how it is and always has been done.

First and second search for defensive rankings pulls up total defense, by yards. I am not arguing your logic but it taint the leagues logic IMG_3691.jpeg

You don’t agree ,it doesn’t make sense you say,yet you are arguing for it nonstop. Good lord man. Buck the trend.
Repeat after me…..” points matter”. In fact they lose or win games.

If a team gives up 240 yards a game, but allows 28 points compared to a team giving up 340 yards a game but allows 21 points guess what happens? I’ll leave that one up to you.

Just for reference. Based on the most common metric used, average yards allowed they are ranked 2nd at 277. In defensive EPA they are ranked 3rd which I still don’t truly understand to be honest. They are a damned good defense. That said we should have beat them if Rodgers doesn’t **** the bed locking in receivers.
There wasn't enough time on the clock...no timeouts. Even the Gainwell being open thing everyone is talking about..that play started with :18 seconds left. He's open but the guy in that zone is looking at the qb. You get the ball to Gainwell and he is stopped at the 3...now what do you do the clock is running?

Can't remember what down it was but you would have to waste one to clock the ball. I don't think he should have gone to MVS all 3 times either, but the last one was undoubtedly DPI....why it wasn't called i have no idea.

You’re blaming Rodgers?

Unbelievable.

This team has 6 or less wins without Rodgers. The WR room is awful. They get no separation. Tomlin has massive sway over personnel selection

Mike Tomlin is an abomination of a head football coach

Many inexperienced qb's have had great success against Tomlin. Especially in big games.
While what you say is true, I wouldn’t say Sanders had great success. He had a couple good drives. He was picked off twice, should have thrown a pick 6, and aside from that looked every bit a rookie. If not for Duggar delivering late Christmas gifts with whatever that stupidity was he wasn’t even average.

I'm just glad our coach looks bad *** in his gold aviators on in an extremely sunny Cleveland day. LOL
Brooke Pryor needs to walk in to the presser and yell "Is that why Mike Tomlin?"

The “gameplan” was no sacks and no turnovers and eek out a victory. Basically the same game plan as always. But the Garrett thing went too far as Rodgers didn’t go through his progressions and just got rid of it quickly. Just another Tomlin clown act.

Is anyone really surprised??? If so shame on you for buying into the Steelers and their 3 game win streak over NON PLAYOFF teams. Where are all the "this team is different" people?
I'm not surprised at all, but I bought in. Why not? As a powerless fan, what else do we have? But like I said in another thread, we are all grown men. We can handle the disappointment.

This is what I do not understand about your position. The "this team is different" people? I never said that, but again, what else as a fan do we have? Thinking maybe they could do something has got to be better than the alternative, right?

And this is the key right here. It's not Arthur Smith, it's not even Tomlin as far as gameday goes. And everyone knows I want Tomlin gone. Now Teryl Austin...I'm not that knowledgeable about the defensive side of the ball, but there are times when you look at down and distance and wonder what the hell he is thinking with what he calls. Today they were not the problem.

The problem with Tomlin is player evaluation. They miss in the draft constantly, they can't develop a QB to save their life. They constantly miss on the roster hierarchy by putting guys at #3 who are better than the 2.

They refused to bring in a legit #2 when they could have made a play for Waddle...what happens if DK goes down..or the suspension that happened? You have nothing on offense...nothing. Lots of other teams have quality backups...not us in most cases and that falls on evaluation.

They are not a serious bunch like I told you guys earlier this year. They are interested in the casual fan that hasn't figured out this team under Tomlin is like a treadmill...get on it if you want, but you ain't going nowhere.

They do just enough both gameday and contract signing day to not do anything...lol..

Don't have a stroke over them...they ain't worth it till we have change. Real change.
The problem on the defensive side is Tomlin likes to utilize two defensive linemen and run a zone scheme, which by all accounts should translate into keeping up with today’s pass happy nfl on paper.

However those zone defenses give up certain areas on the field every time, and this is something where Tomlin is either too proud to adapt to or he truly is incompetent.

Yesterday was one of the first times where I seen three defensive linemen on the field. And much to what I expected they were getting pressure.

The Steelers should’ve never done away with the 3-4 they often utilized under Lebeau imo.

The personnel is there for the 3-4 to still work properly even in today’s nfl.

I hope they boo Tomlin out of the stadium next game.

I love the team, I can’t stand the coach

He might be a really nice guy, but he’s a fools golf coach that has no idea what he’s doing.

That explains so much
He’s a golf coach!!!

That’s why he always trying to keep the Steelers score so low

I was wondering what the deal was

Well the putt putt putt quite often.

Occasional drive to get close to the goal.

Hit the sweet spot here and there.

Definitely a Golf coach.!!!

Salute the nation

For this game yes I partially blame him. Yes he has played well and we wouldn’t be here without him. That doesn’t change the fact he forced the ball to a terrible receiver three times in a row. He chose to do that. He told MVS what to do directly on that last play. Watch you can see him whispering in his ear. Regardless of Tomlin Rodgers ****** up.

**** off. Is this on Tomlin? Maybe but I also will blame Rodgers at the end there for forcing to MVS. Tha wasn’t on Tomlin. That was squarely on Aaron. He played poorly in the red zone this week. **** DK as well. Defense played lights out aside from a lucky duck throw for a TD. We ran for 130+ against a great run defense. We got two INTs and didn’t turn the ball over. If Rodgers plays better this isn’t a game.
"Maybe" he says

Do you EVER get tired of sucking Tomlin's dick? Like, ever??

If they lose on Sunday Night, Mike Tomlin should be out as head coach, be it fired, resigned, traded, or set adrift on a raft.. whatever...

The steelers have underperformed for way over a decade and a half under him

Their draft picks dont develop well, their playoff performance has been horrific, their statistical performance sucks... i mean they are posterboys for mediocrity

Plus there are a significant number of late season collapses and blown division leads to point at

Living in a state of delusion is "better than the alternative"? Better than what?? Telling the truth about this coach and this team?

No, it isnt.
