Ex-rat Bart Scott says comparing Polamalu to Ed Reed is disrespectful

Both are 1st ballot hall of fame's both played safety at around the same time. Y Both played in the afc north at around the same time. Yeah no reason to compare I guess
 
Reed played a season longer had roughly 100 tackles more and 32 more ints. Troy did have 3 more forced fumbles. I know stats don't tell the full story and i believe both were game changing players.

Reality is they were both very good players and I'm happiest that TROY was a STEELERS player.

He tried to say his reasons but Ed Reed wasn't on another level which is what he was spewing and then to say it was disrespectful in comparison was the real horseshit comment. If he would have said two different positions no comparing the two I could have bought into.

yeah I checked the stats after I posted....it was well over a hundred more tackles for Troy...Jitter must be drinking already

Steelers news is slim right now so you talk about what is there. Just was ridiculous someone anyone trying to put Ed Reed in a higher level than Troy. That is like saying our peasant vehicles hold a candle to cooch's luxury Datsun B210.

And he took it way farther than that by saying it's disrespectful to Ed Reed to talk about them in the same conversation. Seriously?

Ed was amazing at what he did.
So was Polamalu.

I give the nod to Troy because he was a better hitter.
Ed could bring it when he wanted, but he’s not Troy.
