looks like the wheels on the Bus does go round and round

:tape:

He got very little time on air. It seemed like they pulled him in to be on NFL Live only if 5 other guys were sick.

should be able to find another commentating gig?

Maybe local. I didn't think he spoke well for tv. Stumbled around his thoughts and opinions. He wasn't anywhere near as bad as some, just wasn't that good.

He was improving but just not smooth enough, I guess.

Still one of the GREATEST all time nick names out there. "The Bus" just had it and it fit him to a T.

What are some other CURRENT player's nick names???
Is that a dying thing too, similare to the average fan being able to afford to go to a game.??

Anthony "FIRST BALLOT HALL OF FAME" Chickillo comes to mind.

ESPN and other networks have a big time problem.

Millenials, in general, don't watch or play sports as much as the previous generation and many of them shun cable, preferring streaming based services that cost less to buy than ESPN.

While NFL ratings are very healthy right now, they might now be 10-15 years from now.

If they just brought in someone else to run between the 20's and saved him for the short yardage segments...

ESPN is garbage. Wish they would realize what they have ****** up, and go back.

ESPN has laid off some quality people yet they continue to employee: Stephen A. Smith, Jemele Hill and Le Batard's dad "Papi."

"The Dump Truck" fit Najeh Davenport to the T as well.

Recall he was running back who pooped in his girlfriends closet.

You are correct,........BUT I was hoping for some CURRENT player's nick names. Just doesn't seem like there are any out there. How the hell is the NFL going to compete with the WWF if they got NO nick names..........

****.....ESPN. They helped sweep under the rug the ******* cheateriots bullshit and yet OVER EXPOSED anything negative STEELERS.

Haven't NFL ratings been in decline year over year the last few years? They are still higher than anything else on a Sunday but I wouldn't say the trend is "very healthy". MLB playoff games were beating out the NFL for the first time in a long time. Thursday night games are basically a waste of time unless the Steelers are playing and MNF has been in decline ever since moving to ESPN. I don't care how the Rog sugar coats the ratings decline, it's definitely not healthy.

I wanted Jerome to be great on TV, but he wasn't.

Good......I cringed every time he bashed the Steelers, couldn't watch him
