Really Amazing - On Neftlix.

Obviously they didn't win a Superbowl but that was the greatest collective team in NFL history. 4 straight trips. **** luck and straight up head games in the big game but man, to get to the Superbowl 4 times in a row.

Truly a great show. Well done documentary.

Not even close to being the best collective team ever. Played in a down era in the AFC and were exposed when playing the NFC.

Talked to Bruce Smith in Virginia Beach a few weeks ago, he looks like he could still play in the NFL.

Name another team that could go to 4 straight Superbowls.

That requires a huge amount of talent and perseverance. You simply can't take that away from them. It's true they lost the big game 4 times in a row, but nobody has ever come close to making it there 4 times in a row. Nobody. Not in the modern era.

The Cowboys were 1 bad quarter away from going to 4 straight. And there's no doubt they would have throttled San Diego. They also won the three they did get to... 2 of them rather convincingly against the Buffalo team you feel is the best team ever ironically.

Not sure it could be done in the Free Agent/Salary Cap era.

Having said that: Seattle. Maybe.

You're not old enough to remember them Pens, but they had HOFers on both sides off the ball and the single greatest special teams player ever, and he wasn't a returner. IMHO he should make the HOF as a gunner.

This is true, but they also played some great NFC teams. Dallas 2x NY Giants 1 and a Washinton Redskins team that was 14-2 that year. If they only had a kicker like we do!

They lost to Mark Rypien and Jeff Hostettler in the Super Bowl I think. They were good, but I don't think they were the best collective team ever. If that were the case, they would've at least won one Super Bowl, I'll take the 74-78 collective talent from the Steelers over them, or the 1992-1996 collective of talent from Dallas over them.. 49ers from 84-88.

All projections of the Bills teams strength aside, the documentary was really well done and does capture the early 90's era well.

3 of the 4 superbowls were laughers, but they could have won the first one against the giants, and should have.

They were in the last one, winning at halftime in fact. They just ran out of gas and Thomas made a critical fumble and it completely got into their heads.

Oddly enough the Bills actually beat the Giants and the Cowboys in the regular season the years they lost to them in the SB.
1990 17-13 W over Giants
1993 13-10 W over Dallas.

This was a great watch! Kudos to Bills fans for the way the treated Norwood after the miss . . .how many fan bases would react that way?

I'm not giving the Bills fans too much credit for their treatment of Norwood. I look at it this way. He misses the kick in XXV vs the Giants This was their first trip in 1990 after a decade of horrible football. They were glad to be there, they hurt with the guy and knew they were built for a good run. If he misses that kick in one of the subsequent Super Bowls, I think they run him out of town under a barrage of wing bones and Genessee cans.

Ironically, the fans stuck with him far longer than the management did.
