Enjoy these last 7-10 games with Ben...

Exactly what is it that Ben has done to make this team bad...the comments are all over the place,,,how many times when Ben makes a mistake he takes the blame,,,don't see any of the selfish players we have found admitting to mistakes. Ben is getting fed up with the attitude of the teams lately and maybe tired of Tomlin and his players coach ways. He has noting to prove to this team, he owes nothing, he has given his all. Ben gets zero credit from any media source he has won Super Bowls, he has won games by making the plays. He has great stats when we have been forever a running team. As said we will see what this team under Tomlin will be when he is gone.

He always takes the blame even when it isn't his fault. After the 2008 SB his first words on the podium were, "Offensive line, who's laughing now?!" *hoists trophy*

Considering nearly everyone here can't even imagine what the physical wear and tear is on a body after 14 years of having 300+ pound behemoths wanting to and beating your arse into the turf, how could any of the same people know what is going on in between Ben Roethlisberger's ears?
I for one hope and pray for his health and safety and who knows, maybe we catch a break and the Steelers make it to another lwoB repuS so #7 at least gets a chance for another ring.
Then perhaps in his own classy way he can tell all the doubters and amateur psycho analysts to piss off.

I just do not think Ben is having fun anymore - he just does not seem to be enjoying himself like in his firs few years. I hate that but when I see him in the shotgun anymore I see fear not the FIRE that we are used to! I would love to see him just take a hit after throwing a great throw and pop back up with a grin on his face!

You did notice his 32 yard completion to Brown near the end of the game vs the Colts, didn't you?

If you think Ben has lost his mojo go back and watch the TD toss to McDonald.

That was all setup by Ben as McDonald moved to his right Ben looks at him...then Ben looks back to the middle of the field...and the LB'er and Safety both move to the middle with Ben's eye then he no look tosses it to McDonald for the TD.

That play was all possible because of Ben! Great play!

And I believe Ben said in a post-game interview that he just tossed and thought it was going to land in the 1st row of the stands. He basically said it was a ****, lucky throw. I don't think there was much skill in that at all...did you see it come out of his hands? It did look like he was just throwing it away. Even his throws this year just don't look as fluid. Time has taken its toll...this is it, I'm convinced. Does anyone think Ben wants to learn a whole new system with a different OC at his age?

Of course he said that. He also said that he believed his throw to Santonio back in '08 was intercepted. Definitely not comparing the magnitude of his throws, but he's always been that way. Ben was on fire in the second half of that game; he moved around the pocket pretty damn well, and made some great throws. I believe he was 12-15 for 170 yards passing and 2 td's in the second half. People are really hanging onto this past weeks game as though it was one in which the Steelers were pounded up and down the field. Meanwhile it was really because of two broken plays that directly led to scores for the dolts, and accounted for just under half of all their offensive yardage. Hell, Indy had seven plays all game long that were in Steelers territory. All. Game. Long. Take those two whole plays away, and it really is a game in which the Steelers came out of the bye in a haze, but still managed to win by a large margin.

how much does he have to pay back if he walks away after this year?

If Ben is done this year or even next, it will be a VERY SAD day in Steelers history. Those calling for his head will be boo-hooing for years (possibly decades) until we get another true franchise QB and are real contenders again year in and year out. It's coming fools. It is very rare to land a true franchise QB let alone go from one true franchise QB to another. There are only a handful in the league that fit that category right now and most of them are getting long in the tooth.

Here is a nice little Ben /Juju statistic

It's not really what QBR is meant for, but it is an interesting extrapolation. Though it does beg the question of how poorly the rest of the team is doing to have Ben's total QBR at 83.8.

I also don't ever remember Ben's QBR being under 90.
