Has anyone looked at all the tickets available on Ticketmaster.. Acrisure is going to be empty at this point. Being only a little over 24 hours out, no way are those tickets going to be bought up. Hopefully Art takes this as a message that all the fans of sick of the garbage we see every season. It’s going to be embarrassment tomorrow night.

Totally agree the state of things and the Cleveland game had much to do with this. 348 is a season tix holder, ask him. It's a real thing.

I think the good folks of Western Pa have seen this act play out so many times before. They’ve been there done that and it’s old and stale now.
It’s a predictable organization doing the same **** year after year expecting different results and you know what they say about that.
Then you add an 8:30 pm time slot and folks just don’t think it’s worth sitting in a frozen stadium, late
into the night then having to fight through traffic to get home after 1:am.
Most have to work the next morning and are not entitled millionaires like the players who will be sleeping in.
So why the hell would a sane person go watch more Tomlin bullshit, freeze their ***** off, and get home in the late hours. Hence, empty seats!

Reasons in order:
1. Night game
2. Cold weather
3. Mediocre product year after year

A team serious about winning a championship will overcome 1 & 2. However, the Steelers have just been oversaturated with home primetime games and it sucks as a ticket holder. Keep in mind, a large segment of te season ticket base doesn't live close to the city. They'll probably get stuck with the MNF Wild Card game if they win Sunday night as well and there'll be empty seats for that game too.

Night game the evening before many people return to work after a holiday vacation. A night game that wasn’t on the horizon until last Sunday night. Many were scrambling to find friends or family who want to sit in freezing conditions and get home around 1 AM. That’s if you live in the area. As you pointed out, a mediocre team that is a three and a half point underdog at home.

Would be shocked if they won to be honest…

They should have left this game at 1pm. It serves them right. It also sends the message that the Steelers are not as big of a deal as they used to be.

That should have been abundantly clear with the "Go Pack Go"game.

There's a ton of pressure to win the next two weeks. You lose in either of the next two games, one game if they lose to that rats, and the fan damn breaks bad.

I can't fathom what another stomping in round one of the playoffs will bring.

I honestly wouldn't be. I almost expect them to win - Mikey's in the hotseat, and it's home against the Rats who can screw up as badly as the rest of the AFCN for doing stupid ****. Also, Mikey wants to blow another kiss to the cameras and prove certain reporters wrong. The post season is another story. Obviously.

I agree to the extent that the Ravens are as unpredictable as we are and if Metcalf was playing I’d go with a toss up, unfortunately our receivers as a group are inferior to a couple college teams, add that to Harbaugh’s calculated hissy fit to the NFL after the last meeting and I expect their db’s to maul our receivers without fear of repercussions. Come to think of it, they don’t even need to interfere. The rats have improved their run defense and will stack the box. I just don’t see the offense putting many points up regardless of how well the defense plays. A couple ravens turnovers in their end of the field and a big special team play by the Steelers could make it a game but I hold out little hope for a victory.

I hear that hot seat mentioned but not sure I am sold on it being there. The way the Rooney’s view things seem to be far different than what the media, fans think..

Can you fathom what a stomping in the AFC North Championship Game would bring though?

This isn’t just some silly WC game…this is the AFC North Championship!!! Most prestigious game ever that would really set the crowning jewel in this Tomlinship.

Been awhile since we’ve been in a championship game.

It makes sense for the Steelers to lose to the Browns and win against the Ravens. Fits Tomlin's profile. As for fans, I expect it to look pretty full. But I also know that Steelers fans nationwide are more ardent than the local ones. It cracks me up when the TV announcer talks about how well the Steelers fans travel. Those fans aren't traveling, they're already living in the away team's area. Pittsburgh fans don't even travel to their own stadium. The last time the Steelers played here in Arizona, the stadium easily had 75% Steelers gear on. When the Cardinals took the field the whole stadium erupted with boos.

That's why I post all my anti-Tomlin stuff...reverse psychology. I also expect them to come out and be super focused and make a game of it. This is not a case of wearing a lucky jersey or some other pre game superstitious ritual. I have evidence.

The Pittsburgh media that lurks on this board takes it back to Mikey through their PC questions. I know this because I listen to every PC I can and I can't tell you how many times
I've heard the unique questions many of our fine posters here bring up regurgitated almost word for word. That's not a coincidence.

I was talking to ol girl. I said to her Sunday night the Steelers players could lay down on the field and watch the ravens run back in forth until the game was over and the Steelers would still retain that man.

She looked at me and nodded her head yes.

As long as those tickets don't go to raven fans.

Part of me hopes they do…but the Rooneys don’t care. I sold mine at the beginning of the week. I’m not driving 3 hours each way to watch this debacle whether they win or not. No one from our division deserves to be in the playoffs.

None of it should matter. WTF would winning a playoff game with a 42 year old QB mean. You need to rebuild anyhow.

For a head coach who has gotten dominated over his last decade of playoff games, it would demonstrate he's learned something about preparation. The young core of players need to learn how to win big games to start to build a championship culture.

Wow. Tomiin has taken this ship to the bottom of the ocean. Disgusting.

I hear yaz BLITZ, but I don’t think the Season Ticket Holder cares anymore.

They are tired of the product on the field while feeling there is no end of Groundhog Day in sight.

They feel like they are getting screwed with not enough lubricants.

Salute the nation
