Radio was stating Vance McDonald would have been the emergency QB. Hodges will be called up this week, which means we will probably drop Jay Elliot.

They just promoted Hodges to the active 53 man roster. So possibly another project coming to the PS or they are holding that roster spot for a veteran signing and plan on moving Hodges back to the PS.
Dude can barely play TE, no way is he playing QB...
Hodges is the backup now. He did well in the preseason, and I thought the Steelers may carry 4 QBs or at least drop Dobbs for Hodges, which eventually happened.
They may get a project for the PS, as for signing a vet, they may, but they will keep 3 QBs on the roster if that happens. They won't let Hodges be exposed again this season with Ben on IR.
