I'd prefer Dez or Terrelle...JMO

At this point any WR with a pulse. He Hate Me isn't playing anywhere.

Bring all three in for a tryout the best man gets the sign....**** every vet out there come in for a tryout. Mason would be throwing. They have this thing they are doing right now that is a little closed minded. They want to entertain people they wanted in the draft. ************ just give us the best option available ****.

I'd prefer Dez or Terrelle...JMO

I think Eli must have spit in someone's cereal. He made 7 receptions against Bengals in last game last year and Steelers are nabbing guys off practice squads.
He isn't a homerun hitter, but he has a decent 10yd average and had 61 receptions for Steelers in 2016. Seems like a nice intermediate route runner that would
help Rudolph out.

How many seasons did Eli accrue in the NFL?

We bring in a PS player. Eli can start right away. Dez and Pryor deserve workouts. All 3 would be improvements over Holton even with Holton locked in on special teams. With the chance JuJu and/or Diontae don't play this week, One or all 3 of these players should have already been signed so they can practice and be ready to play. Even if JuJu and Diontae can play, we need someone to replace Switz. They have apparently now given up on this season.

It's no wonder Rudolph is struggling so bad. Terrible play calls. Dropped passes. Guys not getting or not able to get open. Not using our TE for some bizarro reason. Etc. Etc. Etc. Sure, Rudolph could be playing better but he looks 10 times worse because of our terrible o line play, no running game whatsoever, no one to throw the ball to and terrible game plans/play calling. The O is one big clusterfuck right now.

I think what we are finding out is that Fitchner is an OK OC when he has a veteran QB to audible out of the play call. Not so good with a young QB with limited experience.
Ben doesn't need a QB coach, but they should have had one for the #2 & #3 QB's.

We have 2 TE's that can catch the ball yet they are an after thought in our O. Most teams nowadays are using their TE's to their advantage. Not us. Vance looked unstoppable last year. This year, he is lucky to get a few dump off passes but almost nothing down the seams, where TE's are supposed to roam free.

We are seeing all kinds of creativity with the offense whether it is Baltimore using Jackson's strengths or a terrible team like Arizona showing some signs of life with Murray. The Steelers are playing an ultraconservative passing offense when they don't have any sort of running game and it isn't working. I'd like to see them study Rudolph's college tape very hard and design some of the offense around what he did well in college. As these spread offense players are taking over the league, we'll see more college-style offenses.

I do wonder why the Steelers are passing on Eli. I know he's just a guy, but he knows the system and could step in day one. Maybe it has to do with his suspension and injury history as well arriving at training camp like a clown when the team was trying to refocus itself without the distractions.

Because Tomlinson has no idea what he’s doing
