Egotistical Prick tweets pic of himself in a Raider Uniform - AB Traded

The bright side is...with his self-destructive personality, L.A. / Las Vegas lifestyle offers him a great opportunity to be dead or in jail within 3 years.

Bullshit! They could've sat his ***, let him rot, and told him to shut the **** up. THAT would have been worth more than a 3rd and 5th. Now every ******** knows exactly what to do to get their away against the pussified Steelers management team.

Please tell me this is a ******* joke! Because the Steelers organization is definitely now the laughing stock of the entire NFL and will be for a long time to come. AB played them so bad and ****** them up the *** and threw them away, along with us the fans. I will NEVER consider AB a Steeler ever again. I can't think of another player that I felt this way about. He ****** his teammates, the Steelers organization and wt e the fans. I hope he doesn't get 100 catches or 1,000 for the remainder of his career. A 3rd and a 5th round pick makes me want to puke. The Steelers just bent over and took it straight up the *** on this. How the **** is that considered anywhere near his worth? WTF!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so ******* pissed right now!

The Steelers let Bell **** them and didn't challenge the tag situation for this year. I would have taken it to court but now we will get nothing for him and we basically got nothing for AB. ******* pathetic and a damn joke! Why both extending Ben, at this point. We can't fill the holes we have with the horrible picks we got for AB.

The Steelers just rolled over and took it. A pathetic **** show for the last 1 1/2 years. ****!

REWARDING BAD BEHAVIOR. WRONG ON SO MANY FRONTS. This whole thing-AB, last season, the culture, all on Tomlin. What a waste. Damn shame. Then there’s what happened ON the field. Whoever said Steelers run things like mom and pop shop was correct.

The bottom line is that the Steelers allowed two selfish, malcontent players to ***** and whine their ways into getting exactly what they wanted, with the Steelers left holding a bag of microwaved dogshit.

This is a low point in franchise history, and one would have to engage in some serious mental gymnastics to spin this into any sort of positive.

Seriously, this is the kind of embarrassing stuff for which we used to laugh at other teams.

If Tomlin and Colbert get contract extensions it's going to be a serious blow to my fandom.

Tomlin better have orders to run a tight ship from now on. If anyone gets out of line, they get punished severely. This clown show has to stop. Now, with Bell and AB gone, they damn well better do something. And, that something will be making a splash in free agency - something they never do. We did not get enough compensation for AB to replace him and fill our needs in the draft (starting caliber ILB, CB, WR and OLB). So, without a splash in FA, there is no way this team improves, even with the cancers gone. Heck, if I'm Ben, and I see the **** we just got for AB, I ain't signing a new deal until FA and the draft is over so I can see what I might have next year and in the final few years of my career. Why play if you don't have a team around you that has a chance to win it all and this years FA and draft are going to be about it for the rest of Ben's career.

I said a 3rd and a 6th. Not far off. Regardless, I knew we weren’t getting a 1st, especially after the Buffalo debacle. Oh well, good riddance to bad rubbish. The way Brown was acting, people should be happy they got what they did.

Well, you suck for being close to right! LOL Just kidding! The only way I will be happy is if Brown sucks this year and if we win the SB. Nothing else will do!

Moving up 11 spots in the first is huge, though.

I would have been happy with that, especially if the Bills threw in a fourth.

I agree. Based on the trade value chart, if the Steelers traded their first round pick and both picks from the Raiders it would only get them around the 13th pick in round one.

Colbert should be fired....NO WAY THERE WAS NOT A CHANCE TO GET A NUMBER 1 AT SOME POINT

There was one in place with the Bills. Brown ruined it on purpose. He also ruined any chance of another team giving up a first rounder. Wasn't happening after the **** he pulled with Buffalo. His situation was the opposite of any other trade prospect because in any other situation a hot commodity increases in value as the trade time approached if there is a bidding war. This mother ****** decreased his value with every passing day by acting like an *******. His stock was falling as opposed to rising.

This could be the best post in months.

Amongst all the angst and shouting there is now capital to move up in the 1st and get a player they really want.

I dunno there is a lot of holes to be giving away picks. I love the idea of moving up. But perhaps this isn't the year to do it.

A very good post. I just disagree with the beginning. Tomlin's style is his style. And it probably worked for a while. And it might do well somewhere else for a while. But that's why other organizations dont keep guys past their shelf life. They move on and get a fresh message. Retaining Tomlin after last years train wreck is as bad as this God awful trade. The whole slate should have been cleaned after last year, knowing what they knew.

Agree. We mostly need to get better on defense but I have little hope that they can draft anyone good on defense. Colbert's record the last ten years or so isn't very good.

I agree. Some local Burgh pundits have said Tomlin has adapted in the past. I'm not so sure. But, if he is to survive past this season, he better change/adapt. And, if he doesn't, I hope Rooney has the balls to fire him even though there is such a big push to improve the Rooney rule.

At the very least I wouldn't give him (and Colbert) extensions until or unless they get to the Super Bowl. With the offensive talent we've had the last several years, anything less is unacceptable.
