Does anyone have the snap counts?

He played 74 out of 89 snaps. Mostly in the box. Williams Bostic and Watt high tackles totals didnt leave alot of opportunities for him to make plays. They got there first.

Bostic made the PFF's team of the week by the way

Bostic looked pretty good, I thought. He made a couple nice plays in coverage, specifically on Njoku early in the game. Maybe he’s starting to settle in after preseason.

Bostic was solid. Not flashy, wasn't Shazier or Farrior but he got the job done and wasn't beat horribly. He's fine and so far is being used properly.

We can check back on PFF's ratings at midseason.

With 74 snaps as a safety, you should at least make a tackle or two.

With 30 threads started you should at least have one good one..so yall even

According to my game notes:

Edmunds had a QB Pressure and a PD on Njoku on 3rd down. Those plays to the TEs always hit for 1sts last year.

He also had a holding call that negated Davis's INT. Davis also had 2 more PDs and looked great as a FS. He made more plays in one game than Mitchell did all last season.

Thomas had 7 snaps. All on ST.

Oh I got it, he had zero tackles AND cost us an interception due to a penalty. I suppose you can read too. Not exactly a smashing debut.

Bostic played well, but when you have both OLB's and DEs playing well, his job was a bit easier. He will be toast in coverage.

Nix should have been used a lot more, especially later in the game when we had a 14 point lead. Just 19 snaps on offense for Mr. Nix.

He had a PD to get us off the field on 3rd down and also provided a pressure, so he wasn't a waste. He was also on 3 receivers where the QB had to throw the ball away to avoid a PD/INT, so he was pretty far from being a non factor.

That he did but a flag to ruin a turnover trumps the good things he did. We faced a bad passing QB yesterday. Kansas City looks to have a good one.

It did, but they didn't score on that drive either. This isn't an either/or argument. The next game is a completely new set of variables.

How did you like Sean Davis? I thought he did an amazing job at FS and I'm very happy to have him and his length/speed over Mitchell from last year.

That experience has to start sometime. I am less concerned on how he started and more concerned on how he will finish. Give him some time coach, not everyone starts out a star..........

Davis was a pleasant surprise. I think he will improve as the season grows.
