In Cincy on Saturday a 90% chance of rain. Looks like temp somewhere between mid 50s and 40s.
Does this serve as an advantage/Disadvantage?

Interesting elsewhere....
Sunday in Minnesota the Vikings fans may want their dome back... High for the day is 5; low -4

Back in the day before Domes, the Vikings used the weather as motivation and had a huge advantage in Minnesota winter games. "No matter the temperature or wind chill, coach Bud Grant's steadfast rule for his Viking team always applied: no gloves and no heaters on the sidelines. Grant’s classic motto was “cold is a state of mind.” Let the other team worry about staying warm." They lost that moving into a domed stadium.

Bud Grant NEVER wore gloves and only wore a baseball cap with no ear covers.

Shoot, that's a little off. That day will have a low of -17 Sunday morning and a high of zero. At least that's what my weather forecast is. Worse part is lots of wind out of the North. Don't want to think about the "wind chill" that needs factored in.

Favors the Vikings. SeaChickens don't even know what Cold is.

Should be interesting.

That's how you lose your ears to frostbite. Especially in Minnesota winter weather.

I recall the NFCCG in Green Bay a few years back. It looked like Coughlin's face was going to fall off.
 
Minnesota gearing up..

According to the team, here are some of the things that they'll be providing.

-Mariucci Arena, home of the Minnesota Golden Gophers men's hockey team, will be open as a warming house starting at 9 AM. (How cold is it? We're using a freaking hockey arena as a place to stay warm.)

-Caribou Coffee will be giving out free coffee in the Fan Zone, which is located on Oak Street outside of the stadium. (Take that, Starbucks.)

-The Fan Zone will also be distributing hand warmers, and those hand warmers will also be distributed at the gates to the stadium. Fans are still encouraged to bring their own hand warmers if they have them.

The team also wants to remind everyone that blankets are allowed at the stadium, as long as they're not the battery-powered type. The team is also encouraging fans to bring styrofoam, cardboard, or newspaper to put under their feet during the game, which the press release says "has worked in other outdoor markets."

I would say mild advantage to Cincy, this takes away Ben's pump fake, and our strength is passing. Heavy rain or a wet field can limit a passing game which is our best stuff.

This definitely helps Cincys WRs and Running game. It would help Brown in receiving but Big Jens pump fake is eliminated.
 
Be careful, reports of fakes have surface. Buy from a reputable vendor.

Last year for our home game tickets were going for like $50 by game day. I bought for $120 and drove in from Louisville, then they dropped. It's the rain. It was supposed to rain like hell last year. I bought my tickets for $110 for this one off vividseats.com. 4.5 drive from Pittsburgh. Real easy drive.
