It's possible, maybe a trade with the Steelers?

apparently he isn't good in coverage, we need a stop gap, a true starter would cost north of 8 Millions I guess
 
You can bring Kendricks in and immediately restructure him down and knock his hit down to about 3.5m if you have to.
 
If he plugs the hole at MLB get it done. I think with the purge at safety you need to bring in a FA linebacker or safety. You wont be able to get both done in the draft.
 
trade a 3rd 92, 165th and th 246 and restructure him down to 3.5-4 mill, he can start asap and be 50 million times better then Spence and moats combined.

You can’t feasibly restructure that has only two years remaining. What ever they apply as a bonus this year balloons his cap figure next year.

Vander Esch can start right away and you can then at 28 take SS Harrison a ready to start S, sign a vet, watched Vander Esche highlights he has been compared to a young Danby and could be as good as Urlacher, has the size. speed and strentgh.
 
Im missing something here. How do they get both players. Arent Vander Esch and Harrison both round 1-2 players.

Sure, but is it a certainty he falls to 28? A good safety may have a better chance of falling this year.
 
He's athletic enough, maybe he'd be a James Farrior type, switching positions would help.

Williams is in his last contract year, so they really need an ILB in free agency and another in the draft.

Boise State site says he only played 6 games in 2016 due to injury. Looks like he had good games for those 6, but i dont know if being out half a year counts as solid.
