If the Steelers are able to come out aggressive and avoid letting their foot off the gas,

I wish for this every game. HCMT likes to play chess. Fine, but no reason you can't be aggressive while playing chess. Get them reacting to your moves early and fast. Don't have to come out and throw a bomb, but you can come out with some mid range passes out of the gate to get them moving a bit.

I agree with your thoughts on interrupting the chemistry. Ben and WR's still trying to settle the timing on the long ball and that needs game speed reps sometimes. It will come. Keep Ben safe is key though as you say.

I think the big matchup to watch this weekend is Bud vs. their LT. I think they are pretty far down their depth list across the OL but especially there. Dupree and the front seven should feast on Wentz.

I would two TE set McDonald in to help the run game and Ebron should be able to victimize a team that struggles against TEs.,

Ben has did an excellent job getting off passes quickly, against their solid pass rush that will need to continue.

Nice write up and three strong points as wel, thanks CJ.

It's Okarfords (sp) job, not Banner's to come back to. That said he is going to be tested and I think he will do well. Hargrove, to my knowledge, would never intentionally hurt BEN but let's keep him out of there just to be sure. A few here wanted to pay him and keep him, TURNS out we didn't need to.

AS for the offense scoring TDs on the take always, that has been a STEELERS struggling point for awhile. I think our OC needs to be replaced but that's another story. Our FB is injured just when the power run is steaming but we should still be able to power run.... We just need Randy Fitchner to actually teach in practice how to execute a play action and a screen pass play. Oh, and actually set them plays up to succeed.

Great article and thoughts.

Salute the nation
